This is so easy! I could never keep the liquid prep down and thus would mess up my procedure. I'm so happy as I need to have a colonoscopy every three years and I dreaded the prep.Thank You!!

Please check your insurance coverage for this product! My insurance does not cover it and it would cost me $182 out of pocket! Too much on a fixed income. To be fair, I did not use this product. When the nurse was going over the instructions with me, I listened to the night-before instructions and the spacing of the tablets and 3/4 gallon of water. I was thinking that this didn't sound bad at ...

I chose the pills because I hate the taste of the liquid, but never again. 1st round went ok, just took 2 hrs to get any results. 2nd round made me vomit and made me feel horrible even after the procedure. It still hadn’t worn off then and I still had a few BMs after the procedure. Highly don’t recommend.

I laid down to sleep after the second dose. I woke up vomiting progressive and emergent amounts of blood. Now I have other issues with my asophogus feeling burned. I now have to have an endoscopy.

I was prescribed Sutab as prep for Colonoscopy. I am fully insured and Walgreen's wanted to charge me $181 "because the insurance (United Health Care) doesn't cover it." I rejected it because I'm not going to pay that amount of money for what essentially is a cheap osmotic laxative. The tablets manufactured by Sebela Pharmaceuticals, are composed of Magnesium and Sodium Sulfate and Potassium Chloride (Epsom Salts, Detergent and Paper Pulp salts and table salt. For this, they want to charge $181? Price gouging at its best and totally out of control! The Pharma Bros are at it once more.Read More Read Less

I read all the reviews before beginning the prep and am grateful to those who shared so I could learn and have a better experience...I approached the whole thing slowly and with caution, and also started the prep earlier so that I didn't have to be up in the middle of the night. My appointment was at 7 am on a Friday, and instead of starting Thursday night, I started at noon, so there was no rush. I took one pill to see how I reacted and waited 1/2 hour, then 2 more, and waited 30 minutes, then started taking 3 at a time (with lots of electrolyte water, as the package says electrolyte imbalance from losing all the fluid you're going to lose can cause "cardiac irregularities"), so instead of taking the pills over a 20 minute time span, it was more like close to 2 hours. Then drank a container of liquid in another hour, and waited for the effects, which started maybe 1-1/2 hours after taking the last pills. No side effects other than a very slight nausea. Then at 7 pm I started again same slower process than the instructions recommend (took 3 at a time with liquid, waited 15-20 minutes in between, then the next 3, etc), and was pretty much "cleaned out" by midnight, so I was able to sleep. I waited to write this review because wanted to see if doing things earlier than the instructions say would affect the quality of the prep, but the doctor was very happy that everything was clean. So my advice is go slow and start earlier than you have to. Also want to mention that warm chicken broth in the afternoon tasted really really good and kept me from being ravenous during the day.Read More Read Less

First time using Sutab and it was a wasted colonoscopy. It took the pills over 7 hours to start working. Over a 14 hour timeframe I was still not completely cleaned. I have used Suprep in the past with no issues.

Had severe vomiting 1 hour after taking 1st set of tablets, along with heart palpitations and intense headache. This seemed like a great alternative to the liquid prep but I will never go near these tablets again. I cannot overstate how sick this made me. Also disappointed to read that 52% of the participants reported an adverse reaction in both of the Braintree Labs clinical trials (as listed in the enclosed Medication Guide). Be advised.
