This is so easy! I could never keep the liquid prep down and thus would mess up my procedure. I'm so happy as I need to have a colonoscopy every three years and I dreaded the prep.Thank You!!

Please check your insurance coverage for this product! My insurance does not cover it and it would cost me $182 out of pocket! Too much on a fixed income. To be fair, I did not use this product. When the nurse was going over the instructions with me, I listened to the night-before instructions and the spacing of the tablets and 3/4 gallon of water. I was thinking that this didn't sound bad at ...

Much more friendly than the liquid drink I highly recommend this product.. easier to swallow than the mass amount of liquids the other way.

Bloating, chills, severe headache, nausea, vomiting in that order. 2nd dose the same but worse. I will never use Sutab again! It did however clean my bowel.

Worst bowel prep I’ve ever experienced. Only good thing was how easy it was to get the tablets down. Was prescribed anti-nausea pills to take 1-hour before each dose. I did EVERYTHING right. Low-res diet for a week before the prep, constantly drinking clear fluids before, during and after the prep, following directions to the letter. Results were very poor. After first dose no bowel activity for hours, and then only short term, which kicked back in at 2am in the morning (NOT FUN). Same thing after 2nd dose the next day. Short term results and incomplete bowel cleansing. Dr. said she could not see polyps nor remove them due to poor prep. Worst yet, the 2nd dose kicked back in hours after the colonoscopy. NEVER AGAIN.Read More Read Less

I was so scared to try this reading the negative reviews; however, the other positive reviews gave me the courage to try. I had a great experience! No cramps, no nausea, & no vomiting. Best part was a very clean colon and successful colonoscopy. Here's what I did: Clear liquids the day before my procedure which was scheduled for 07:00 the following day (hydrated very well). Took a Zofran at 17:00, started SuTabs at 17:45 and took 1 pill every 3 minutes. Followed instructions on water intake but replaced water with organic coconut water for 1 of the 16 oz requirements. Took Zofran again at 20:45 even though I had no nausea and I kept sipping on gatorade & ginger ale between Sutab treatments since I was awake running to bathroom anyways. Took Zofran again at 01:30 as a preventative for the next Sutab cycle. Started next round of Sutabs at 02:15 and spaced them out every 3 min. This time I added a Phayzyme 250 mg at the end of the 2nd Sutab cycle to prevent bloating or gas. I always stuck to water when swallowing the tabs which are not that difficult to swallow and I am not a good pill taker. Again I replaced 1 of the water cycles with coconut water. I made sure to walk around the house the entire time I was swallowing the Sutabs to help my gut mobility along. The last time I went at 06:00 before hitting the shower was clear, not even pale yellow, but absolutely clear! I didn't even know that was possible. Oh, almost forgot, don't ever wipe! Only pat clean and use preventative A&D ointment. Also pat with witch hazel wipes (like Prep H or Dude wipes), then dry by patting again and apply A&D every time you go. I hope you have the same positive experience I did & hope this helps.Read More Read Less

I didn't experience any adverse reactions at all. I was scared to take the medication after reading all the possible serious side effects (such as seizures) and negative reviews (such as vomiting). However, I didn't experience any nausea or abdominal pain. I ate a very light breakfast of 1 egg, 1 piece flat bread, and 1 cup of coffee. I had a mug of chicken broth in the afternoon and drank plenty of gatorade. It does take 2hrs to complete each dosage. The only negatives were not getting enough sleep and the cost of the medication. I would use it again.Read More Read Less

This has been a very terrible experience for me. A very active healthy 55 yr old woman. When I took first set of pills my mouth began to water like a creek. I was nauseous dizzy and weak. The whole process of taking the pills didn't take 15 min fir each set but over an hour to get them down without vomiting them up. I finished the pill prep and was cleaned out. Feeling tenderness in my stomach and overall not well. After the colonoscopy I have not gone back to normal. It's 49 days after and I still experiencing side effects. Like the feeling I had the night I took the sutab pills. Rolling Nauseous with watering mouth, weakness, stomach tenderness/ache, loose bowels/diarrhea. I would NOT recommend this to anyone.Read More Read Less

This is my 3rd Colonoscopy and will most likely be my last. I took the SuTabs as directed and had the worst experience. Started feeling so sick after the 1st dose, but I plugged along and did the 2nd dose as directed and about 1 hour after finishing I began vomiting violently. So much so when my endoscopy was done I have severe Gastritis and Esophageal Irritation,. Had my colonoscopy on 2/1/24 and here I am on 2/11/25 and still have had diarrhea and terrible bloating. Called my GI but he wasn’t too helpful. I have not been able to leave my house since 2/1/24. I do to recommend this prep to anyone.Read More Read Less

It did not provide a complete cleanse. I was immediately suspicious when it took longer than expected to start working. I would not recommend.

Due to my father dying in his 40's with colon cancer, I have been diligent to get the recommended colonoscopies through the years - this was my 6th one - my first with su tab - and I give the method a 5 star rating - while I have never struggled with completing the prescribed methods, this was, by far, the easiest to tolerate.

This was the most horrible experience of my life. 15 minutes after taking the first round, I was vomiting. I went through with the second dose but only took half and after my colonoscopy the doctor said that my insides and my throat were horribly inflamed. It's been 2 weeks and I'm still dealing with pain and stomach upset. I cannot believe that they can't come up with a better product than this for colonoscopy. This product has completely messed up my flora in my stomach. I am always a healthy eater.Read More Read Less

I had previously used the Suprep years ago and vowed I would not drink that horrible liquid formulation again. This time I used Sutab prep and after reading reviews asked my gastroenterologist for two zofran tablets to ward off nausea from the prep. I took a zofran tablet 1 hour before each set of tablets and did not experience any nausea. The colon cleanse started soon after taking the tablets and I had a successful colonoscopy. My only complaint is the diarrhea persisted more than 16 hours after the last set of tabs were taken. I am still experiencing gastrointestinal symptoms after eating or drinking many hours after the colonoscopy. Not sure if others have experienced this.Read More Read Less

I highly recommend Sutab. I used it for my first colonoscopy after seeing the huge volume of liquid prep my husband had to drink when he had his and I’m so glad I did! It’s very easy to use and it worked like a charm. I had no ill effects, no cramping, nausea, etc. The prep worked beautifully according to my doctor. My advice: quit procrastinating, leave the liquid preps behind and use Sutab!

I’ve had ulcerative colitis for 35 years. Started pre prep 5 days before taking Sutab. Ate low residue diet, no meat, fruit or veggies last 3 days. I was very anxious about the prep. It was surprisingly easy. Complete liquid diet day of prep and I drank liquids all day to hydrate. Took first 12 pills at 2 pm, very slowly.I took one pill about 3-4 minutes apart, and slowed down when a little nauseous. The pills are about the size of multivitamin. Very slight nausea which passed quickly. Began going within an hour. Once the pills kicked it there was no nausea at all. Took second dose around 8:30, again very slowly. I was in bed by 11pm, waking up a few times during the night. Again, slight nausea but it passed. Had colonoscopy this morning and I was clean. With less to clean out, the pills worked well. Doc found a polyp and removed it. Waiting on pathology report. All in all, a much easier prep than drinking all that nasty stuff! Will definitely use Sutab again. Again, pre prep seems to be the key. This was my first colonoscopy and my dad had a very good experience with Sutab. I could not imagine drinking anything as I would fear gagging… So I tried these pills, and here is the skinny: First of all, you need to follow a low residue diet for at least three days before prep starts. That means low fiber foods, simple foods, no spices, soups, and a ton of water. I drank a lot of water, the three days before my prep and I really think this helped. The day of the prep, I did not eat any solid food. I followed my doctors orders versus the instructions on the medication. I did not have a light breakfast. I ate homemade broth (doesn’t really have to be completely clear… Just Has to be completely strained), Gatorade, apple juice - even though I love fizzy, drinks, and sodas… It’s a bad idea to complicate your gut in Any way. Keep it simple. I started the prep at 5 PM and I took one pill every five minutes per my doctor. After I took all 12 pills it started to work pretty much right away. Maybe 30 minutes after I took the 12th pill. Since I ate well… The pooping wasn’t so bad and everything was pretty clear by the time the 10 o’clock dose was to start. I had zero pain or discomfort. By the time I started the 10 o’clock round… I took the pills a little quicker like one every two minutes. I drank a lot of water with both doses… The only thing is that the pills are very big and annoying to swallow. They kind of sit at the top of your throat, so you need to really drink more than a sip with each pill. The truth is that by the time I downed like five of the second dose - I was clear and probably could’ve stopped but I felt guilty so I kept taking the pills. By the time I got to the 10th pill and I had been back-and-forth to the bathroom I was totally clear and I decided to halt taking the medication. I drank the water and went to sleep, and my procedure was amazing. I talk to the doctor about taking less of the second dose and he said that Sutab is like one size fits all - so technically, you can cut the second dose if you’re clear… Which is good to know for the next time. I think if you eat with care and drink a ton of water (and absolutely no alcohol) in the days leading up to the prep and the procedure Sutab will work well for you!!Read More Read Less

I will never take the pill prep again. Swallowing a giant pill every two minutes after 6 then 7 then 10 then 14 then 20 then 24 pills quite literally felt like I was being tortured. The incredible anxiety it caused im sure didn't help but the pooping caused horrible hemorrhoids. I will pick the liquid prep every time which is by no means fun but isn't that bad and the pooping came easy.

I never write reviews but this product is so bad I want to warn others. This made me vomit so hard my heart went out of whack. It is far worse than the laxative tablet/mixalax and gatorade zero combo that costs all of $12 that's over the counter at Target. The pills are giant and this has you drinking a total of 12 cups of water. There is no advantage what so ever to taking this over other preps but doctors are pushing it hard these days.

Followed the recommendation of 4 tablets every 10 minutes to get the 12 in over 30 minutes with the water requirement & worked well. I took Zofran about an hour before. I did not have any issues & I hate swallowing tablets. This is better than the liquid prep IMHO. My colonoscopy was at 0600 & I wasn't supposed to start round 2 until 1 am, but I started at 11:30 pm & it worked very well. I will do this for the next colonoscopy as well.

It is awful. It makes you so nauseous that in addition to having diarrhea you feel like you’re going to throw up at any time. Stomach bloated. Better to drink the liquid stuff.
