About 24 hours after taking the second dose of BioNTech, I found both of my feet started to swell from below the toes to the area surrounding the ankles. They felt a little pain when being pressed and a little tight when I moved the ankles around. I have consulted private and public hospital doctors (in Hong Kong) who didn't attribute my case to the vaccine. I used to be very healthy and am...

Very mild side effects just after getting the shots. Mostly arm pain. A little achy and maybe a low fever. Symptoms only lasted about a day or less.

I got my 2nd dose of Pfizer on May 10th and 3 weeks later my feet started getting swollen. I’ve always been healthy but my feet get swollen everyday, having to stand for 8 hours at work is just not helping and I get heart palpitations.. if I would have know that this was going to happen I would had never gotten the COVID vaccine.

2 to 3 months later new swelling to both feet and legs then thighs and hips and then below waist going doing. Was minor while I took fluoxetine as this drug made me pass lots of urine but as soon as I stopped fluoxetine the issue became very serious... ddimer level 689; ESR 17... no intervention yet only tests ongoing... also bruises sprouting spontaneously (mostly to lower limbs) about 3 months after second Pfizer jab. Swollen glands still present now and it’s now about 6 months since first jab when glands first swelled up ... small lumps under skin that felt like obvious clots reported to doctors but no one seems to be taking the fact that I am fairly sure I have some blood clots in my body seriously enough to start some treatment urgently to stop the risk of fatal consequences of clots in blood.. only referrals for more testsRead More Read Less

Four weeks after 2nd Covid vaccine I developed SEVERE pain in right foot in heel, Achilles’ tendon, and around ankle. I use a wheelchair so no injury or overuse. Pain excruciating, hurts just to touch, received two cortisone shots, moderate relief for a week after first shot, no relief second shot, this has been going on for over three months now. My husband ironically developed same problem a few weeks after me, diagnosed as planter fasciitis, nothing has helped him so far either. Today we were talking with a neighbor much younger than us and he too has same pain diagnosed with planter fasciitis, he is not athletic, he’s thin build and does not stand on his feet for work, All three of us have received both doses of Pfizer vaccine and just woke up with this foot pain several weeks after last dose, out of the blue for no reason. Then I googled foot pain and Covid vaccine, found these posts and others online. Sure seems like a pattern. I’d rather have foot pain than die from Covid but if this foot problem is a side effect maybe researchers could find an effective treatment, it’s debilitating pain, sure hope everyone’s feet get better soon!Read More Read Less

I got my first (and only dose) of Pfizer in mid-may. I’m not an anti-vaxer but felt a bit pressured to get it, but my gut told me not to, I should have listened to my gut. I’m a mid fifties male, active (was) and eat healthy, rarely drink and take care of myself. After the shot I felt off but was ok, over the next few days continued to feel off which was expected from what I had heard. I started getting some anxiety attacks, sleeplessness and a bit of joint pain throughout my body but nothing severe. Have also had random heart palpitations and muscle spasms throughout my body. I have had a bit of joint pain on and off over the past few years and one episode of “gout” like symptoms in my left foot a couple of years ago which in itself was odd because I don’t fit the lifestyle that usually causes gout. The episode lasted a few days and was gone and I’ve been fine since. About two or three weeks after my first Pfizer shot I woke up one morning with my right foot in EXTREME pain and unable to walk. I thought it would pass in a few day but it didn’t so went to emergency where they did blood work and an X-ray. No breaks or fractures, blood work was relatively normal, uric acid levels were on the higher side of normal but the doctor didn’t think it was gout. She said to take some Advil and rest the foot. A week later the issue was still persisting and in pain so went back to emergency where the same doctor ordered a CT scan and more blood work, once again every thing is basically normal yet my foot is swollen, painful and I can hardly walk. The discomfort is situated in the joints at the base of my toes and the ball of my foot so I have to walk on the side of my foot to get around. I’ve now gone to a podiatrist who has sent me for an ultrasound this week. I’m on crutches and have had to take a desk job at work, I can’t walk my dogs anymore, ride my bike or run. I will not get my second shot of Pfizer or other vaccine until there is more data and new or better therapies to fight covid. I should have listened to my anti-vaccine cousins, and I should have really gone with my gut and waited until a few years down the road. I hope my foot can be treated and all my other symptoms subside over time, I miss my active life! There needs to be a better way to report post vaccine symptoms to health authorities and vaccine makers - and that information needs to be made available to the public so they can make an informed choice and know more of the true risks and trade off between getting covid and possible vaccine side effects. I would gladly wear a mask and sanitize my hands constantly every day than live like I have the past month. After reading many of these posts, I realize I’m not alone. Thank you all for sharing and I hope you all recover sooner than later!!!Read More Read Less

Overweight, 30 year old woman. Extreme nausea that comes and goes, and started feeling sharp pain in my big toe on the left foot this morning (3,5 days after first jab of Pfizer). Thought it was all the walking the other day but then I should have felt it the day after. Also gotten a rash on my ear (swollen and a little itchy). Also had a slight fever the other day... Hoping this doesn't get worse.

After the 2nd dose I am suffering acute pain in my feet and toes, the right is also swollen, my left heel feels as if its been stabbed with a knife ,both feet and toes tingle and feel numb. It seems to be getting worse and is very debilitating as I can't sleep for the aching and stabbing pain. Why is there no record of this anywhere had I have known the mess it was going to leave me in I would have refused the vaccine.

Healthy 52yr old male. No known allergies. I have no chronic illness, Nonsmoker, No alcohol, normal weight for 5'-10" ht. at 180lbs. After receiving 2nd dose of Pfizer vaccine, within 6-8 hours I developed severe pain on top of left foot (5th metatarsal) affecting pinky toe. Progressively the pain worsen over the next day. Pain and inflammation migrated to second toe (next to big toe). Severe swelling & excruciating pain. Approx. 3-4 days later the condition appeared on right foot, affecting the 5th metatarsal area & pinky toe. Unable to walk without the use of cane or crutches. Diagnosed with Gout. I have been on medication & have gone through drastic dietary changes to help this so called "gout". I have lost 10-12lbs. since this all started. Nothing has relieved my pain. As one joint subsides, others flare up. My wrists and hands are also very achy at times. It has now been 8 1/2 weeks of nonstop agony. The 2nd and last vaccine was administered on April 26, 2021. Very concerning to not know how this will progress and when it hopefully end.Read More Read Less

2nd shot on 1 April. On 8 April my feet started hurting really bad, sometimes it hurt to walk. I can't be near air conditioning, makes my feet hurt more. I usuly stay in my bedroom, with a fan and my feet wrapped in a heated blanket.

I took the vaccine 4 days ago. Since the day before yesterday, I've been feeling pain on my feet, like I had ran a marathon using wooden shoes. I'm also experiencing insomnia, and random joint pain on my legs. I hope this will get better, but reading the past comments didn't help on this "hope" thing.

My right foot cramps badly. I had a stroke on the right two years ago but this was not a problem until the vaccine was done this March.
