My 7 year old daughter has struggled with Myoclonic Seizures and Jeavons Syndrome since she was 3 years old. She has had various medication regimens and has had a VNS implant and also a Corpus Callosotomy(brain surgery) performed within the last 3 years, and nothing has given her a noticeable decrease in everyday seizure activity. With the nasal Diazepam(Valtoco) which has recently been prescribed to her as an Emergency rescue medication, I have seen tremendous reduction in seizure activity within 15 minutes of administration. My daughter has a unique case, where we have been told her seizures are medication intolerant. This means her seizures are hard to control with most prescribed daily seizure medication. In those moments of desperation when I just want t my daughter to feel some type of relief from her debilitating seizures, this rescue medication is the trick! I would recommend that anyone suffering from uncontrollable seizures, ask their doctor about this rescue medication. It's nothing short of a miracle for my own child.Read More Read Less
