Unable to absorb iron from food or tablets I was put on regular iron infusions. After a number of false starts due to unavailability of ferracru, I have now been taking one tablet twice daily for 7 months when my blood results entered the lower end of normal. My doctor reduced the dose to one tablet daily and I continue to improve but more slowly. From being unable to walk to the front door because of breathlessness and fatigue to living a near normal life has been just fantastic and I thank all who have been involved in bringing this medication to the market. One added bonus - I have had very thin hair all my life, suddenly it has started growing (albeit that too has slowed down on the dose reduction).Read More Read Less
