I started using this when I had a reaction from the glue when I had eyelash extensions. It’s actually amazing and too the red out of my eyes when trying Visine 3 times in a row in about 10 min the red was still there. That was in August 2018. Now if I don’t use Lumify 2-3 times a day my eyes are severely dry, itchy and red! I’ve actually rubbed my eyes so much trying not to use Lumify that I’ve ru...

I have been using Lumify for 5 years since it came on the market. It does take the red out. Looking back 5 years I have been suffering from Vertigo and very strange headaches. For the past few days my left eyelid has a burnt red irritated patch. I am wondering if these eye drops have anything to do with my symptoms. In the past Brimonidine tartrate has been classified as toxic to humans. How on ea...

I had been using hygiene, eyedrops or a similar brand for over 40 years. I noticed the advertising for Lumi and I decided to try them. I use them now and then, and was very pleased as they definitely did reduce the redness very quickly. I then went on a three week cruise and was in the public eye daily, so I was using the drops each morning and evening . On about the fifth day suddenly my eyes were extremely bloodshot, and they continued to get worse to the point where I could only go out in public wearing sunglasses because the eyes were filled with blood. When we returned home, I met with an ophthalmologist, who diagnosed me with conjunctivitis and prescribed Medication which resolved the issue in 2 to 3 days. Several weeks later, I went to a casino in Iowa and started using Lumi again morning, and sometimes in the evening, and within 3 to 4 days the same problem occurred, and the eyes were basically filled with blood I returned And met with a Oculoplastic surgeon who said I did not have conjunctivitis and he prescribed TOBRADEX, which is an antibiotic and steroid. It reduced the redness within 3 to 4 days and I did not use Lumi again until I saw my optometrist and discussed the problem with him, and he said I could be allergic to it and suggested I use Visine in one eye and Lumi in the other, which I did, and sure enough within three days the Lumi I was blood red my optometrist told me not to use Lumi again and said it is fine for occasional use but not extended use and what it was doing is actually bursting capillaries in my eyes and filling the area with blood . I do not recall any precautions stated about using the Lumi on a regular basis, which definitely should be listed in bold print on all labeling. The Lumi drops cost me a tremendous amount of time and money and embarrassment, and I am extremely displeased with the product. Read More Read Less

I don’t understand how such a horrible, dangerous product is still in the market! After trying to use for just 2-3 days, I thought I was going to lose my sight! The ingredient is considered toxic to humans! How can they Bauch still be selling this? Do we need a class action suit?sign me up!

Make my bloodshot eyes white again, no side effects. I was surprised to see the bad reviews, I have been using Lumify for about 3 years , several times a week. It helps my eyes look clear and youthful and my eyelashes have gotten thicker. The only down side is the price, which I wish was a bit lower.

Lumify definitely gets the red out but I started experiencing redness around the eye where my eyelashes are and blood red eyes upon waking up in the morning. I also started noticing my eyes were itchy and I felt like there was something in them like a gritty feeling. I thought I had the pink eye it was so bad. I also started feeling generally unwell and jittery. I finally decided to look up side effects of lumify eye drops and wow I was shocked! Everything I am experiencing is directly related to these eye drops. I would not recommend these to anyone. Read More Read Less

I started using lumify when I just couldn’t get the red out of my eyes at work . Maybe eye strain I thought from wearing readers . After awhile I noticed I was having to use it more frequently and then the only time it worked very long was first thing in the morning when I woke up . My eyes would be yellowish with gunk in them and a film I could hardly see . A few days on the weekend i didn’t use it, I didn’t need to . So now that’s happened a few days on my off days when I haven’t used it . I think it’s this product . I somehow need to ween myself off . I hope this hasn’t damaged my eyes I’ve been using it regularly now for a few years to the point I have a monthly bottle delivered in the mail . Read More Read Less

Yes, Lumify whitened my eyes. Yes, it was easy to instill the drops. And I was satisfied for quite a long time, using the drops once a day only a couple days/week. Then I started waking up with terribly bloodshot eyes -- we're talking bloodhound bloodshot. When I stopped the drops, the redness disappeared after a few days. If I used even a tiny drop again, I would wake up with cranberry eyes that felt irritated. Lumify was definitely the cause. I was worried the redness may not clear up if I continued to use the drops. Definitely be cautious with this product, even if it appears to work really well for you in the beginning. Read More Read Less

It does brighten the whites of your eyes ... but I think I?ll go back to other drops - Naphcon A, if needed or Visine Allergy, if needed. I notice a bit of dizziness in the evening when I use Lumify (1x during the day).

Absolute rubbish. Im from Australia and thought I'd give this a go. I usually use Visine Advance which is am awesome product but was told lumify makes the whites of your eyes glow. Well this product didn't even take the redness away. Absolute waste of money.

MADE MY EYELASHES FALL OUT! I lost about 1/3 of my eyelashes after about 10 days of use. I also had horrible "bags" under both eyes. I contacted Baush & Lomb, sent back the rest of the bottle and still no refund. That's NOT the point though, it's been 3 months now and my lashes have not come back. I also saw my eye doctor with new blurriness that I did not have prior to using Lumify. Please don't risk your eyes for a little bit of brightness or whiter eyes.

These eye drops do whiten your eyes like crazy. But, they make your eyes feel like they are getting squeezed. the instructions say your can use 10 minutes prior to inserting contacts. They actually eat away at contacts. While using these eye drops I ruined 1 box of each eye of contacts. While using these eye drops I started having burst eye blood vessels (Subconjunctival Hemorrhage). They also cause major irritation, Puffy eyelids and itchy skin around my eyes. I now have Conjuctival Chemosis and Subconjuctival Hemorrhage several months after I quit using Lumify eye drops. I recently did research and found SEVERAL very bad and concerning reviews of very bad reactions. BEWARE and do research first before inserting this banned substance in Europe into your eyes.Read More Read Less

My eye lashes are falling out. I have bare spots on my upper lids and my left lower lid. The product did make my eyes brighter with the redness gone but I'd rather have my eye lashes. I'm not going to use this product anymore nor recommend it.

Yes my eyes were bright and white but my head started to feel hot and I had what felt like a migraine almost immediately after using it. Tried it after 2 weeks, I felt pain in my head. Will not use it again. Eyes are slightly blurred now from minimal use. Caution with this product.

Felt good at first. Did NOT live up to the hype! My eye dryness, redness did not change at all! The price is NOT worth the temporary relief.

I felt I was going blind after using this horrible product! I saw the adds about bright whites of the eyes. I had no redness or irritation but wanted the brightness! I used for three days…my eyes watered up, got gritty, irritated, and red…for a week or more after discontinuing my eyes hurt! Should be taken off the market before permanent blindness happens!

I used these eye drops for a month and developed worsening of eye redness. Puffy, swollen under eyes that were dry and red, scaling skin. Extreme eye sensitivity to light. Blurred vision at night. Random eye pain. I do not recommend as these have bad side effects. Not worth the cosmetic look.

Really excellent and no side effects to me. Does exactly what they say. I only use tiny drop once a day. Surprisingly expensive but I’m thrilled, no red eye anymore. Odd such mixed reviews….

Don’t use it. It will destroy your eyesight. Having my eyes bright for a day is not worth destroying your eyesight. Been blurry for days now, truly worried.
