I took this pill for 2 years and used to notice my body went through some painful side effects, but I never thought it was from this pill, and then stopped taking it in august of 2021 because my husband and I were trying to have kids. Now that I’ve had my child, I got back on it, but the side effects came back, confirming my suspicions. I get THE WORST (and I mean the worst) painful, burning diarr...

the first few months I took this I felt like my boobs were very sore, they did seem to get a little bigger? I do like that I can skip periods on the pill. randomly almost a year after taking it I got the sudden breast soreness again not sure if it mattered but it was a couple days before the period pills maybe that was why? googling now to make sure not pregnancy !

Prevented pregnancy, but while taking it I had a lot of negative side effects. Would get terrible headaches, fatigue, and mood swings. I would also get UTIs very easily, which I didn't even know could be a risk. However, after taking for about a year, my period did become regular and PMS symptoms/acne didn't seem as bad as before. Effective but beware the side effects, read the warnings and do your research before coming to a conclusion on which birth control is right for you.

I’ve been in BC since I was 13 bc of painful periods. Fast forward, in 2020, I was FINALLY diagnosed with Endometriosis and I had my first surgery two years ago. They had me take a pill to go through fake “menopause” it made me feel horrible so quit my BC and that pill all together. I’ve been off of BC for two years so. My fiancé and I just got married so I wanted to get back on something and plus my endometriosis has came back and it’s absolutely terrible. I went to the doctor and she told me BC would help my endometriosis but it doesn’t. It’s time for another surgery but she doesn’t listen.. Anyways, she puts me on the BC and I started taking it 2 weeks before we married and I’ve been sicker than I don’t know what.. I could barley enjoy my wedding… THIS BC IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! This Islibloom was prescribed as a substitute for Apri tabs (with similar hormones). I have been extremely frustrated with the side effects. I am a 43 year old woman and haven't encountered cramping like this since my teens. Highly recommend you NOT try Islibloom if you've been content with any comparable substitute.

I have been on this birth-control for almost 2 years now, and I have no complaints. My periods have regulated to being consistent each month, my menstrual cycle lasts up to four days the first two being heavy in the last two being super light. I used to have extremely bad mood swings to the point where I couldn’t even go out into public but now when I am PMSn I can tolerate the public. The one downfall I do have with it is I never used to get nauseous before my period but it’s nothing that is not manageable. I did not have any weight gain taking this birth control, but I definitely do feel a lot more fatigued at times. Read More Read Less

Now that I’ve had my child, I got back on it, but the side effects came back, confirming my suspicions. I get THE WORST (and I mean the worst) painful, burning diarrhea I’ve ever had to the point where I never have a solid bowel movement anymore. I had this same issue the first time using it, but I thought it was a colon issue. It went away when I stopped taking the pill. On top of that, I never have an appetite, alot of food tastes gross to me, I will never recommend this pill to anyone, and I’ve decided to stop taking it altogether.Read More Read Less

Been taking this pill for over 5 years. It works if you take it correctly. It does make my boobs feel heavy a lot but not bigger in size. Just heavy and it's kinda weird. Overall no issues in mood.

I’ve been on this pill for a few months now. Started in August. I’ve been on one other birth control pill for years and changed to this one for my acne. Benefits: I have seen my acne reduce and my periods have been normal. As far as I can tell it works for acne and birth control. The disadvantages: I do have extreme mood changes and get angry easily as I did not do that before. My breast pain and tenderness have been very bad since I’ve started this pill. They are fuller and heavier. I’ve had several ask if I was pregnant when complaining about my breast but this pain began when I started these pills in august and have not yet become pregnant. Sometimes it is unbearable for my partner to touch them. That is the biggest problem for me when taking this pill. Read More Read Less

I had had sex 3 years before with an ex, but hadn't since then. My fiance and I were waiting until marriage. I started taking isibloom a month before our wedding. Once I started taking it I immediately noticed my sex drive go down. But, I still have a sex drive! My periods are still the same as they were before. I also started using menstrual cups instead of tampons and both the birth control and menstrual cup helped reduce period pains. I feel nauseous for about 15 minutes after I take it, right before bed, but don't experience any after that. I didn't gain any weight - I hope. I don't think so. I don't think bleeding for longer than a week when it isn't your period is a good thing. That shouldn't happen. That's crazy. So maybeeeeeeeee probablyyyyyy yessssss you should go see a doctor. That happened to my friend when she was on her birth control (different brand) and she was miserable. I say just try it for 3 months and see how it goes. Then ditch it or keep it.Read More Read Less

Satisfied as I can be with a birth control thus far. Able to skip periods, acne is reduced- only complaint is mild headaches when I do get my period but otherwise satisfied!
