I have great difficulty getting the tablet out of its wrapping! I am 64 yrs old and have gel nails, along with arthritis in my fingers! Pls change with encasing of the tablet and make it more user friendly!! That’s my only complaint about this product!!

I have seen benefits however I am discontinuing use for the same reasons others have mentioned: packaging. The plastic covering the inserts is often impossible to remove. I sometimes use my teeth or a scissors because I can't get it open with my hands--I'm 54 and fit. And the individual plastic applicators are a horrendous environmental problem. I don't use them. I insert it with my hand. Conseque...

Yes it worked but after only 10 days, I was experiencing sore breasts, acne, mild hot flashes, etc. And jitters. I cut back to once every other day and that did not really help. I switched to Replens which is working fine and no side effects (and less mess). I also became nervous about the long-term effects of this drug. The clinical trials were very small and it hasn't been in use for very long. And finally - all that damned plastic! A new applicator every time? Why? With replens, you just wash it in soapy water and let it dry.Read More Read Less

This medication helped me almost immediately and I was in heaven. Once I realized you needed to insert as high as possible before bed I had no problems with leakage. Two months into use I started itching all over the vulva area and also on top of my pubic bone, OMG THE ITCHING was insane. I had to stop using and have been very sad because nothing else comes close to replacing the moisture like this medication.

Only 1 month so far, no real improvement, giving it more time. Very expensive. I have no problem with the package, but I agree it could be easier, maybe a blister pack. Comments about "a mess" did not read directions > insert just before bed. (you are lying down so it doesn't run out. I have no problems. I will update in 4 more weeks to see if there is any change.

After 12 days of use I developed external blisters similar to having herpes. I had to discontinue use immediately so was not able to use it long enough to judge effectiveness. I also experienced the river of fluids running out every night.

The good news is Intrarosa did relieve the pain. I had dilators my doctor had me using and after two weeks, I used the largest one and was pain free. I had to use a lubricant, but no pain. I was so happy. At three weeks, I began experiencing mood swings. Got in a fight with my husband over a basketball game (pretty trivial). I could not calm myself down. The next day, I was having strong thoughts of suicide. I talked to my husband about what was happening to me and he said to stop taking it. Nothing is worth feeling that way. I also checked my blood pressure and it was going up. I am usually 110/69 and heart rate of 70. I had 125/69 and 88 heart rate and then next day 127/58 and 99 heart rate. I did not have any problem with discharge as some ladies have experienced. I was using Vitamin E suppositories and I had a lot of discharge from those. The wrap on the suppository is a little hard to open, but certainly not a big problem compared to the painful sex. I would have been glad if that was the only problem. My doctor said she did not have any reports from other patients of any side effects. I reported the side effects to the FDA. I will also contact the company. You pretty much have to try it and see if it will work for you. Everyone is different. Read More Read Less

Using for vaginal dryness. Hard to get out of package. Runs out and gets all over panties. After almost 4 weeks developed irritation in external area - maybe due to lots of wetness, or to sensitivity to inactive ingredients. Going to doctor to find something else.

Have only used for about 3 weeks..so far no noticeable change. Will keep using it to see. I agree with other reviewer...the packaging needs to change. The suppository is too hard to get out of wrapper!!

The packaging of this product is ridiculous. I find myself struggling to remove the tab, even with dry fingers. I hate the nightly challenge and for this reason I am thinking about changing to something else for dryness.

I used Intrarosa 6.5mg daily for about 6 months. In the beginning I did get some relief from dryness and irritation of the vagina. After 3 months or so I noticed I was feeling agitated/irritable/ emotional and my (previously non existent) hot flashes became practically constant throughout the day. I figured this was due to menopause and not the Intrarosa. At 6 months I discontinued use after having an episode of dangerously high blood pressure which landed me in the hospital. It has been a month since discontinuing use -- my hot flashes are reduced, the other emotional/ agitated feelings have been eliminated and my blood pressure is back to normal. I don't know for certain that the Intrarosa caused all these problems but I certainly feel better not using it. I am currently using a pea sized dollop of coconut oil daily for vaginal moisturizing and it seems to be working for me. For further info research DHEA and you will find it is not recommended to use longer than a few months.Read More Read Less

The side effects said vaginal discharge, but it's so much more than that. It is a river of melted medicine being discharged every day. I've ruined half a dozen panties and two pairs of pants. Therefore I didn't use it long enough to judge its effectivess. I couldn't.
