I had severe allergic reactions to chemicals found in everyday products; this was diagnosed via a skin patch test. Now on Dupixent, I am free of red, itching, burning peeling skin. This has been a life changing experience.

By their own statistics, Dupixent works only 40% of the time, so no surprise that it was not effective for me. But what makes it worse is the fact their "copayment reimbursement" program is a sham. I am a young doctor who was struggling with severe eczema while trying to work 80 hours a week as a resident. I want to say how wonderful this drug has been and how it has improved the quality of my daily living. I tell everyone about the effectiveness of this medication and would love to share my story with anyone who is suffering from eczema and let them know you don't have to deal with the daily struggle any longer.

I am rarely itchy and don’t have flare ups anymore. Coming from a person that constantly felt itchy, dry and rashed out skin, it has really been a life changer for me. I don’t have any negative side effects. I don’t love giving myself shots but I can handle it every two weeks.

Worst drug ever! I ended up with Blepharitis (extremely itchy eyelids), a severe red patchy facial rash with white heads, and significant hair loss in two places on the back of my head.

I have been suffering with eczema for about 5 years now. You name it I tried!!! Nothing worked!! Many nights I put myself to sleep crying from pain, and burning sensation. I was at a point that I was not able to use my hands which is very depressing, imagine you can’t even open a bottle water! My doctor recommended dupixent and I had my first dose 2 weeks ago, OMG why did I suffer for 5 years for! This drug is a lifesaver!!! I wish I can post a before and after pictures here so you can all see the difference! Read More Read Less

I have been a life long sufferer of eczema, the worst, most extreme kind, head to toe. The endless physical torture was only surpassed by the social stigma, looking as hideous as I felt. For 30+ years, I took Prednisone, which had terrible side effects, but was the only thing that provided even a small measure of relief. Since I started taking Dupixent several years ago, I have not had a single eczema attack. My skin is finally normal, for the first time in my life. I can’t describe the relief of being comfortable in my own skin, and I am beyond grateful. Read More Read Less

The needles are very fragile and dull. I have bent the needle trying to pierce my akin on more than one occasion. Significant sting from the medication. I use an ice pack to numb up some before and immediately after injection.

Will update after 16 weeks. 2 weeks in. I'm 34 and have severe eczema that only affects my face. Immediately on the loading dose my itching subsided completely and hasn't returned. Just took my second dose a moment ago and have had tons of consistent flaking and red skin since the initial injections. All reviews I've come across say that this is normal and the damaged skin being replaced so hopefully that's all true and it clears up soon. No side effects whatsoever at this point.

I'm 16 years old and this drug changed my life. I was hesitant to try but its been about 6-8 months and I'm so thankful for the derm that recommended it to me. No real side effects for me - even my eyes are fine. I had moderate - severe eczema that never went away, even with steroids until now. I never knew what it was like to have normal skin, but now I do. Injections are so easy so don't worry about that. Please give this a shot (pun intended), I hope you can find the relief that I did. Just writing this review, eczema free, is a miracle for me. Read More Read Less

I have been on this medicine for over a year. This drug has been life-changing for me. I went from having head-to-toe itchy scales to baby -smooth skin. Yes, my eyes are itchy sometimes and they are pretty red often....but I am willing to deal with it for the miraculous results. Within hours of taking my first shot, my skin already looked noticeably better (my sister asked me if I had makeup on!) If you are truly suffering, please try this.

I have had eczema for 42 yrs now and was very excited to try this new medicine in place of the creams that are out there. I got the initial injection at the Drs office and was supposed to continue with 1 shot every two weeks at home. The mail order pharmacy contacted me to set up delivery. During their final speech they quickly say whatever the Dupixent CoPay Card doesn't cover you will be responsible for. That to me said, hold on and find out the cost. I called Dupixent, they told me their Copay card covers $13,000/yr after that you are responsible. That would leave me with a CoPay of $29,000/yr!!!! What are you kidding me??? I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield and still over $3k for 2 shots a month. That is ridiculous. I cancelled my script, told the pharmacy to shred it. Who can afford that?? I have insurance and that is crazy. My In Vitro fertilization drugs cost less. Just a heads up to anyone out there. Ask before you agree. Know what the final costs are beforehand!!Read More Read Less

The downside of dupixent is getting eye infections. And recently I started getting red, dry, and itchy patches around my neck, elbows, face and thighs.

I have horrible chemical allergies from being a hairstylist for 30 years. I have had a rash and blisters on my body for the last 7 years and was using topical steroids and avoidance to deal with the skin issues. Then 2 years ago my lungs turned on me. I was put on multiple different treatments, none worked or it made my breathing worse. I am allergic to HFA propellant so I can't use an inhaler only a nebulizer and I have had an allergic reaction to 3 different inhaled steroids so far. along with Multiple ER visits when my airway closed. I was given so many steroids, my system must be super sensitive, I developed steroid myopathy and my adrenal gland shut down giving me POTS for 3 months! Finally my pulmonologist put me on Dupixent. What a life saver. I went from barely able to climb my stairs to 6 weeks later I am functioning at about 70%. I can not believe how well this biological drug is shutting down whatever is going on in my body. Not only is my breathing improved to where I am doing just maintenance treatments with my nebulizer my skin has completely cleared of all ID reaction blistering, itching and rash. I did have a herpes outbreak on the first injection of two shots but it cleared by week 2. My only complaint is that I wish I could do a shot every 10 days. I can tell when it starts to wane, my breathing issues come right back like I am breathing through a coffee straw. My mother died of E-asthma and now there is a treatment for it and Now I have it! I am so thankful to science!!Read More Read Less

I just wanted to say that you need to give the Dupixent the full 16 weeks. I almost stopped. At the beginning my head was so hot I started buying new pillows. My face turned pink. The itch subsided pretty quickly then the body. Face and head took longer. I had a flare on my wrist that I tried to get rid of for 3 years! That is now a lot better at 16 weeks with spot treating. I still use a bit of Scalpicin once in a while. But the Dupixant definitely takes the edge off. I find if you just place the needle it slips in by itself. You don’t have to stab yourself. Good luck.Read More Read Less

I have used dupixient for about a year. Took it every other week for awhile now once a week. Clearing up nice. My breakouts were so bad my doctor said I was her worst patient and that’s at a big university hospital. So glad they found something that helped me.
