I had severe allergic reactions to chemicals found in everyday products; this was diagnosed via a skin patch test. Now on Dupixent, I am free of red, itching, burning peeling skin. This has been a life changing experience.

By their own statistics, Dupixent works only 40% of the time, so no surprise that it was not effective for me. But what makes it worse is the fact their "copayment reimbursement" program is a sham. First, they said they "lost" my first 3 claims and suggested I resubmit them. Then they denied them because they were "too late" even though the original submissions had been on time. Nothing but ex...

Been on the injection for 2 years now. It definitely works but I'm trying to decide if the side effects are worth it. As they say damned if u do and damned if u dont. My eyelids are itchy and red. A horrible rash like chapping red and peeling chapped lips is the worst thing. My doctor keeps making other excuses but it started w the meds. I now get cold sores n never had them in my life. And my joints hurt so bad I can hardly move. So yes...I am concerned at what this drug is actually doing to my body to receive the benefit of minimal exema. I still have patches that never disappear but they never get too angry. I'm really trying to decide whether I should stop the injections. Hard choice.Read More Read Less

I was pushed into taking this drug by two of my doctors and I'm so sorry I ever did. Admittedly it did decrease my eosinophils. However, I suffered so horribly from side effects that at one point I thought I was not going to survive. Everything from chronic cough, allergies worsened suddenly allergic to my dog, developed new food sensitivities throwing me into the hospital food reactions my eyesight became terrible with blurred vision, and floaters. Herpes. A stye. My sense of smell heightened. I could not even be in the kitchen anymore when food is cooking or walk into a restaurant, it would be so overpowering. I would be coughing, I finally stopped the drug at the three month mark and I'm still suffering side effects my eyes are still suffering. I'm still having food sensitivities and I do truly believe this drug is poison and I caution anyone who takes it because if you don't react well it can really hurt your body. Just look it up. It's made in chinese hamster ovaries. That is so disgusting!!!Read More Read Less

This medication improved my quality of life significantly. Experienced loss of smell and taste for almost 15 years. Within 2 weeks of starting Dupixent, both have returned. Some minor burning sensation associated with injection, but only lasts 10 seconds. No side effects. So grateful this medication is available.

One week after starter dose I lost all energy all my muscles and joints completely shut down I had cold sweats could not swallow could not eat. Injection sites are a 4 to 5-in circle of inflammation. Absolutely one of the worst experiences of my life I thought I was going to die

I have had severe eczema my whole life along with a ton of problems with severe acid reflux. Since being a kid, I have done rounds of steroids and always have used topical steroids to the point where I was even more sick my freshman year of college I got so sick I couldn’t eat any food. My skin was basically falling off then I started taking new pics it in within a year it was all gone but the medicine does have some pretty strong side effects, I have really really itchy eyes all the time I have joint pain I can’t drink alcohol anymore because I’m allergic but with dupixent I am now able to live a normal life and be not in pain all the time. I will say I got sick with every injection and it messed up my period but it was 100% worth it! Read More Read Less

This medication really changed my life, before I was on betamethasone topical and hydroxyzine pills but when they stopped working my skin was so bad I would be bleeding out in class. Unfortunately it took a very long time to get this medication and we met a lot of dead ends on the way. However about 2 months after taking this (4 doses) my skin was completely transformed and the scabbing had stopped and was healing nicely. This was the best my skin had looked in a very long time and it’s still working great with no side effects. Read More Read Less

4 shots, vertigo, eye vision, toothache, groin pain, diarrhea & spent money out of pocket for dentist, thought I had an abscess, the pain was unbearable, primarily doctor put me on very strong antibiotics . Dentist told me nothing wrong with teeth, that I was sick and see my doctor. The pulmonologist that put me on this drug did not go over with me the seriousness of many side effects. I thought something was seriously wrong with me. Doctors just don’t take the time to talk to you about a drug especially like this.Read More Read Less

I take this for eczema and i was previously on triamcinolone, which worked for awhile but then my skin got so bad that i would cry after showers because my skin was so dry and itchy and i would scratch my skin open. My doctor put me on this, and it helps me significantly. Not all my eczema has gone away, but i use my triamcinolone (much less now!) and plain lotion to help and i am so glad i am on it. I am scared of needles but I am learning to be brave and the only side effect i get is an injection site reaction. i hope to stay on this medication for as long as i need it! i also use their copay card and thankfully i don’t need to pay $40 every time i order it! :) Read More Read Less

Been on Dupixent for one year and recently started developing pimple like nodules on my face and in hairline. They don’t itch and not sore. The feel very firm and sometimes are more apparent than other times. I have had tw for over two months and others about a month. I am 70 so it’s not puberty! I didn’t have pimples when young! I can breathe better thank goodness!

I used it for a few weeks and it worked, then the last time I took the injection, I could not get out of bed, was in excruciating pain non stop for long period of time . I could not walk , it was horrible! I've been through a lot of pain, this was the worst in my life. NO pain medicine (Hydromorphone) Tylenol felt like it made it worse... And prednisone Did not work!!!!!! There is something wrong with this drug, be careful.

I took this to shrink nasal polyps .My injections were for every 2 weeks !! By my 2 to 3rd injection I got HERPES !! My doctors never mentioned It flares herpes up if you had it before. By the end of my 4 th injection I got the most nastiest smell of body Oder !! I smell it everywhere and on my clothes even after they come out of the LAUNDRY, HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE , THE SMELL IS GLUED TO YOUR CLOTHES & I DOUBLE WASHED THEM & EXTRA SOAP !! ITS HORRIBLE !! I played all sports all my life and never ever smelled this FUNK !!! BUT THIS SMELL WONT GO AWAY !! My whole room smells even after doing your laundry !! I shower 2 to 3 times daily & spent over $300. on every product imaginable, NOTHING WORKS, NOT EVEN PRESCRIBED MEDICATIONS !!! My doctor said DUPIXENT doesn't do that, well I've been reading all about Dupixent on reddit & there are reviews of other patients who's friends said he has bad BODY ODER !! He & others got it after a few injections of DUPIXENT just like me !! I stopped Dupixent immediately, that was 4 months ago & it does not go away for NOTHING !!! I can smell myself walking down the street, in cars, 1 hour after bathing with medicated products, powders, creams DONT WORK !! People around me say something STINKS around her .I know it's my Body Oder because of the Dupixent !! NOTHING WORKS !!!! It's now 4 months with no Dupixent SHOTS & it don't go away !!! I now have an appointment with a UROLOGIST IN 4 WEEKS !! That's as earliest appointment I could get !!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND DUPIXENT THERE HAS TO BE OTHER ALTERNATIVES TO YOUR PROBLEMS THEN DUPIXENT !! ALSO IT GAVE MANY PEOPLE OTHER PROBLEMS DRY PATCHES OF SKIN & OOZING LIQUID FROM THE DRY SKIN & EYES !! GROSS !! JUST LOOK FOR DUPIXENT REVIEWS & YOU WILL NEVER USE THIS EVER !! NOT RECOMMENDED !!Read More Read Less

Pre-filled pen administration in thigh is so painful that--even though I usually laugh at pain--I can't administer to myself. Have to make a caregiver do it and even then I'm brought to tears. Hurts afterward to walk. It may be worse for me because I'm skinny (110 pounds at 5'5"), so have little fat to inject into. Can't use stomach because of prior surgeries there. Am going to try the pre-filled syringe in arm and hope it's tolerable enough to continue the drug to find out if it actually works.Read More Read Less

I got this to shrink my nasal passages. Which it did in 2 months,my 1 st month I got Herpes ( that sucks) my 2 nd month I got a DISGUSTING CROTCH odor that no matter what I did it wouldn't got away! I never had anything like this. I smelled my whole room all my clothes! Walking down the street I could smell it,I took 3 showers a day used 99 % Dial anti bacterial soap ! I could get rid of it I never had this in my entire life,I showered & sat down & smelled up the whole room. I went to someone's house they never thought it was me and said something b stinks bad . In 20 min I excused myself & went home. I told my doctor E.N.T that gave me the DUPIXENT .He said that not the DUPIXENT, It don't do that .He said go see a Urologist. I made an appt to see one . I was on DUPIXENT 2 MONTHS ,I told my Doctor I am stopping DUPIXENT THIS IT CROTCH ODOR STARTED 2 WEEKS AFTER I started it. He tried everything for me not to IT worked GREAT SHRINKING MY NASAL POLYPS !! I stopped the DUPIXENT LIKE I SAID !! 2 MONTHS THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME I USED IT STOPPED 100 % AND WENT AWAY LIKE I SAID 2 MONTHS NO MORE CROTCH ODOR OR HERPES AT ALL !! IT WAS THE MUST NASTIEST ODOR OF CROTCH ODOR IMAGINABLE !! I FOLLOWED MY INSTINCT & IT WORKED GONE !!!! I am a young doctor who was struggling with severe eczema while trying to work 80 hours a week as a resident. I want to say how wonderful this drug has been and how it has improved the quality of my daily living. I tell everyone about the effectiveness of this medication and would love to share my story with anyone who is suffering from eczema and let them know you don't have to deal with the daily struggle any longer.

I am rarely itchy and don’t have flare ups anymore. Coming from a person that constantly felt itchy, dry and rashed out skin, it has really been a life changer for me. I don’t have any negative side effects. I don’t love giving myself shots but I can handle it every two weeks.
