Not at all as good as Supartz! My knees are crunchy and aching like before when I was using cortisone, but unfortunately ins will no longer cover Supartz and I can't go back to cortisone which only lasted me about a month each time. Hopefully it gets better with time...

Provided some..but not complete relief. Only lasted 5 months before needing to go back for a new set of injections. In the past I have had Euflexxa and Orthovisc injections. My doctor recommended I try GenVisc this time around, so I did. Not so happy with GenVisc. Orthovisc provided the best and longest lasting relief for me. Almost 10 months before needing follow up injections. Going back to Orthovisc.

I had the series of 5 weekly injections of GenVisc 850 in August and September. It took a while but Now 2 months later my knee is almost pain-free. I would recommend this treatment as an alternative to surgery or other treatments. The injections were done by a skilled physician who guided the procedure with ultrasound and numbed the area so only a small pinch or jab was felt. Medicare covered everything and the series can be repeated in 6 months - hopefully not needed.

Time will tell but I have no pain after the 3rd shot. The lack of inflammation has given me more energy & I'm able to resume some exercise that I haven't been able to do for awhile. Hope it lasts!

Didn't meet my expectations. Knees hurt more than ever. Had been receiving Cortisone injections for several years, which worked better.
