NO HELP W/ FINGER JOINT PAIN. SEVERE RASH AFTER 2 MONTHS OF DAILY USE. ITCHES LIKE HELL

I had a question about this drug- I'm 13, and my dr. reccomended I take 250 mg 2x a day... is it safe? I absolutely can not stand pain. Is it addicting? I didn't get it yet, but I'm haveing 2nd thoughts.... please let me know (:

Took this medication yesterday 500 mg after about 2 hours I suddenly had severe diarrhea and the worst headache I ever had in my life and the worst pain in my stomach I went to the ER because I wasn't sure what was wrong with me and all they did was give me 2 Tylenol and some Mylanta which didn't help at all. They treated me as if I was lying and acted like all I wanted was some pain pills. Like if I wanted to sit in the ER suffering just for some pain pills! I will NEVER take this medicine ever again. And yes I did take with food. It also made me feel as if I had a fever and I was very tired and had body aches. This was a very bad experience for me. Please be careful using itRead More Read Less

have neck pain from a spine injury it works im a little afraid of the false positive, in a drug test it may give off at work

Pulled my back muscels two weeks ago, Dr. perscribed a muscle relaxer(4x's a day) and Naproxen 500mg 2x a day. Worthless, gives no relive, might as well be taking a Buffern tablet. Good thing is I haven't had any side effects.

I took this for 9 days. Started having dizziness/nausea--just not right. Also diarrhea. Did nothing to help the pain. Still having diarrhea/nausea after being off for 3 days. How long does it stay in the system?

The medication didn't do much to relieve the pain in my ribs and lung area and caused me to be nauseated every time I took it.

Was rs'x this drug for pain in shoulder and hand due to a variety of causes. Drug gave very little relief (though some in shoulder) and I became extremely constipated and depressed, at a 500 mg x 2 a day dosage. I'm discontinuing the med today and calling my doctor.

my husband was prescribed this medicine for a pulled muscle in his lower back. he was constantly dizzy to wear he could not walk, and the drowsiness that came with it made it impossible for him to work. it says on the label that if you smoke you should not take this medication, so why would the doctor give him this if he knew he smoked??? he took 3 doses and stopped and now has to go back to the hospital so that he can get other medication for his back.

experiencing muscle and bones stiffness and pain. Could this be related to left hip and back pain?

I took 500 mg 2x/day for a sprained rotator cuff. It seems to have helped the inflammation but didn't do much for the pain. After 8 days my stomach is a mess, indigestion, diarrhea and terrible gas, even when I took it with food. I also ended up with a minor eye infection which my eye doctor said might have been caused by the Naprosyn. Since it acted on my stomach secretions it also can dry out your eyes, making them susceptible to bacterial infection. I stopped taking it and my stomach has returned to normal and my eye infection is improving as well. Slight stomach upset. Minimal pain relief.

Didnt have problems at first with it. But last night i was taken by ambulance to a local hospital due to a reaction from it. it dropped my blood pressure to 77/44. I have never had a problem with my blood pressure so this really did scare me. I think they really need to look at this medicine a little more close.

I was put on 500mg 2x a day but couldn't stomach it. I cut it back to 1 tablet, cutting it in half, am & pm. 2 months into, I'm now bleeding with bowel movements. I'm going to the Dr's today. This is the only new medication I'm on. It has helped the pain, but not worth this. Stomach has been queasy since starting meds.
