I used this as a preventative treatment on continued sun damaged skin. First signs of reaction appeared within a week, in the second week was much more noticeable and scabbing started and by the third week (day 16) was very slight uncomfortable stinging and it became itchy. I stopped on Day 17 - today, so don't know how quickly it clears up or how effectiveness it has been
