3 days on this medication and i am amazed at how improved my breathing is. My breathing is so good i can go about my chores and not worry about my breathing.I am truly feeling like my old self. Wonderful medicine finally free from shortness of breath.

Stiolto has not helped me at all. I still can't breathe and have tightness in my chest along with some chest pain. The delivery system is terrible. I never know if the mist came out and I breathed it in or not. I do not like this system at all.

Just diagnosed with copd and prescribed inspiolto respimat. Product sprays out while rotating clear counting chamber. Very complicated. Doesn't fit well in air chamber because poorly situated cap latch. No change in breathing other than dry wheezy cough that I didn't have before. Will discontinue after 7 days trial. Glad it was free sample and I didn't waste money.

Took me while before I figured out how to m use. I can't tell if I am getting Medication or not.
It seems to make me feel better for a few hours but then wears off.
By the end of the day I am struggling to breathe

I have repeatedly had containers that didn't work correctly. For this reason I am changing to advair 500 . Wasted money sadly enough
It's not a realistic goal to throw away money .

Medicine shoots out before you press button, runs out ahead of a month, $250 a month WITH insurance. Once I use my $1200 worth I’m done with it. Can’t tell if it helps my mild emphysema or not. You can’t feel it or taste it, I never know if I’m getting some or not. Doctor was appalled at the price, prescribed something cheaper.

The medicine seems to help me expel more mucus that I would without it. I can also tell that I'm breathing a little better when I have it and don't have to use the albuterol as often . The problem lies in the cartridge!! It does not contain 60 puffs I received a cartridge from the Walgreens pharmacy on August 28, 2022 and the 60 puff pharmacy at two puffs a day was out September 13, 2022 the Walgreens will not refill the medication early. So my question is am I stuck not being able to breathe for half the month because the company that makes the medicine made a mistake? Also who am I supposed to contact about this my doctor the pulmonary physicians office the pharmacy? This is the second cartridge that I have received like this so I'm going to talk to my pulmonary physician and see if there is a better inhaler.Read More Read Less

I ended up with almost every side effect by the end of week two I could hardly function between muscle weakness, back pain, no sleep,, eye pain and loss of appetite; all this and absolutely no improvement in my breathing. Side effects are worse than the COPD.

I was diagnosed with "moderate" COPD/Emphysema last year. My doctor did not prescribe me anything, so I just tried to cope as good as I could (which was not very good, basically all I managed was to not go into lethal depression). Last week I visited another doctor who immediately prescribed me Spiolto Respimat.
It made a HUGE difference within two days. I'm breathing better than since years, I have much more energy, all of a sudden I feel nearly healthy again. It's both shocking and relieving. Until a week ago even a single flight of stairs made me look for an elevator because I knew I would be totally blasted after it (sometimes nearly blacking out and nearly pissing myself - if you have COPD you will know what I mean), now I just take the steps and keep on walking. Yes, I breath faster, but I can do it just fine. While I wouldn't call it an outright miracle it's much nearer to a miracle than I would have ever expected by any medication.
Only side-effect so far seems to be a tendency to run into slight muscle cramps when I overdo it. Which of course may have other reasons, like me being much more busy than before. It also seems to be a slight upper and I have trouble to fall asleep, so I will try to take my dose earlier in the morning and to take a walk before going to bed.
Of course all of this will depend on your illness and how your body reacts to it, but give it a chance. One way to objectively measure the difference is the 6 minute walking test: Set a timer on your smartphone to 6 minutes, start walking as fast as you can for six minutes and note the point you end up at after 6 minutes. Try again at the same place after a change of medication and compare.
I got not only 10% farther, I never felt really exhausted while before I felt like I was constantly fighting a black-out. According to my size, weight and age my 6 minute walking distance is now right in the range of "healthy" (although I'm not really healthy, no doubt about that, I still couldn't run more than a dozen steps to save my life).
Anyway, don't give up, try different medications and compare.Read More Read Less

It works great however I hate the inhaler itself. I've had 2 now that have skipped up and short me dosages. Sometimes it sprays with such vengeance you can't help but cough. I had no idea how bad my breathing was until I started this. I feel 10 yrs younger.
As for the person who said it was too expensive even with an insurance plan I say find another plan. I pay $9.20 for 3 months worth of the stuff.

I have Emphysema COPD, according to my pulmonologist after a lung function test I am at less than stage 1 COPD (this was found after I experienced a collapsed lung due to an emphysema bullous weakening and causing a leak, that part of my lung was removed and my lung is now functioning better than it has in years) I've been using it for 18 months with no apparent side effects, I can't really say whether it's improved my condition or not, but it certainly hasn't hurt. I was a 40 year smoker, quit 8 years ago. Read More Read Less

Broke out with terrible rash on both legs, face, forehead. Chest pains, could not breathe. Depleted my energy and ache all over. I am very active and this put me down to 0. Would not recommend at all to anyone ,, not even my neighbors dog. Only used 2 days and stopped.

This inhaler doesnt last a full month. Inside the chamber there is a numb that makes it stop working, when its out. If you remove that numb this inhaler will last almost 2 months. Thats BS that the manufacturer does that. Its wrong, and I should not have to jury rig my chamber so I can get my money's worth out of that thing. Hope this saves someone else some money. It last longer after it has supposedly run out than it does before it stops working and says its done..

SOB has improved after doctors samples, but I seem to have the side effects like a common cold, hayfever or seasonal type allergies. However, the cost would be over $400 per month on Medicare with a drug supplement plan.

It really plays havoc with my GERD. I only use 1 inhalation a day because of that side effect. In addition it does cause irregular hearbeat, high BP - but I can breathe!
