I was in a lot of pain in my lower back and shooting pain down my leg for months, and had increasing difficulty in walking and sleeping. I had been forced to use a cane, and a scooter to get around and I could no longer walk any distance. I had to stop physical therapy because the pain was too bad and epidural injections seemed to offer little relief. The MRI indicated that I had tissue from a her...

Joint damage from Lime. I took 400mg for seven days. Terrible fever, fast heart, heart pain and a heart attack on seventh day. Dr. said I was allergic to it. I would never take again.

Celebrex really works for me. I tried narcotics and they did nothing still had pain. Doctor even asked what I was taking. After 5 years of pain-ready for a wheel chair, I took Celebrex. Very happy, it works I take it with applesauce every morning

Have taken prescribed Celebrex for the past 5 days after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on one knee. I have been in unexpected severe post op pain. Should I continue Celebrex? If I don't remember if I took the prescribed dose, is it better to take an extra dose, or skip taking what might be an extra dose?

My hip ball and cup is completely white with arthritis. My Doctor prescribed 400 MG Celebrex daily. I bowl twice a week and do all my chores at home. When I see my Doctor, he just can not understand how I walk with out pain, because of the condition of my right hip.

I take Celebrex for osteoarthiritis and fibromylagia, however I am not able to purchase this medication due to the cost. I'm wondering when a generic of the med become available. I currently paid $877 for 180 capsules. I tried the Rx card coupon but the pharmacy would not accept it. What other medication do you suggest using in the meantime. I also will be taking Tramadol (makes me sleepy and use at bedtime) Meloxicam 15 but taking more than 1 as prescribed per day, Celebrex 200mg am, and a muscle relaxant. The pain in my legs across my pelvis is unbearable, muscle shake, throb, tighten up and have lumps under my skin when this happens at the end of the day. I work in a library and on my feet 7 hours of the 8 I work.Read More Read Less

Celebrex does help with the pain but as an over weight person to begin with the Dr. should never given this to me. As it has made me blow up and added to my weight problem I have had to stop taking it as I have put on 23 pounds and look horrible

I have DDD and severe shoulder/collar bone pain set on by a past car accident. I had been on Celebrex once before and it didn't do anything for me positive or negative. Recently the pain started getting unbarable so I descided to give it another shot and it seemed to help this go-around so I continue taking it 100mg twice a day. I recently ran out and had to wait a week for payday to come around and I could definitely notice a diference in my pain levels. I could hardly get up and take care of my 2 year old son! When I was finally able to acquire for prescription and took one I could slowly feel my energy levels rise within a few hours. I have had no adverse effects thus far and am hoping they don't start, due to the drugs positive effects. The only down fall of the drug for me at the moment is the high price of purchase. I have state employee insurance and it still puts a hefty dent in my wallet every month. As long as the effects remain positive then I guess I'll just stay broke :)Read More Read Less

for multiple injuries impacting jts and spine, severe depression from chronic pain. 2nd time to use. 1st time 200mg mostly "holiday" use, ie for special occasions due to expense, great relief. 1x used 400mg, ended up with heart pains at night w/in 10days, severe migraine L side & L eye swollen(stroke). Stopped immediately in 2004. Did not use until 2012 again as I couldn't cope with opiate drugs and depression so went on 200mg. Immediately lifted the depression and enabled more activity but now have to be careful of overactivity. Have drug assistance otherwise would not be affordable. And it saves on hard pain killer use, which is preferrable.Have had swollen glands tho ever since start in Aug. but not a medical impairment at this point. Read More Read Less
