I was in a lot of pain in my lower back and shooting pain down my leg for months, and had increasing difficulty in walking and sleeping. I had been forced to use a cane, and a scooter to get around and I could no longer walk any distance. I had to stop physical therapy because the pain was too bad and epidural injections seemed to offer little relief. The MRI indicated that I had tissue from a her...

Joint damage from Lime. I took 400mg for seven days. Terrible fever, fast heart, heart pain and a heart attack on seventh day. Dr. said I was allergic to it. I would never take again.

Taking this for joint and back pain. 40 + years old...makes me SO TIRED - way too difficult to function. Not a lot of difference between this and ibuprofen for me, except ibuprofen doesn't make me so tired.

I havent noticed a difference in this drug over my other anti-inflammatory- but I have noticed that I am EXTREMELY tired.. Unfortunatly my insurance wont cover it, but they will cover a narcotic!! That doesnt make sense to me at all!! Has anyone had this tiredness problem as a side effect?

VERY QUICKLY DEVELOPED EDEMA IN BOTH LOWER LEGS, ANKLES, AND FEET. IMMEDIATELY UPON QUITING THE CELEBREX, THIS EDEMA STARTED DOWN; HOWEVER I STILL HAVE SOME. SO I AM WONDERING HOW LONG IT TAKES FOR THE CELEBREX TO LEAVE MY SYSTEM?

Good drug, but only for mild RA cases. I have had RA for about 6yrs. I've taken it since my first encounter w/RA. It is the only drug that has stayed true to its effectiveness. However, it's not effective enough to stand alone to stop "severe" RA inflammation/joint pain. I've taken it with plaquenil, MTX and Leflunomide, all of which I had to stop taking because of the side effects, but no effects from the Celebrex. Six years later, I'm still taking Celebrex.

Last time my back and knees felt this good was over 10 years ago. I can literally jump out of bed in the morning in stead of walking like an old man hunched over.

The reason for the 1 star ratings is I've just started taking it 4 days ago. I need to know the drug interactions with other drugs I take. Also I've had two heart attacks.
