I have been on this drug for just few days, but i can tell the different after couple hours taking it. However, i am experiening some discomfort inside my stomarch, like soreness. Not sure if it from celebrex. Does anyone ever experienced the same symtom like me? This drug is sooooo expensive. It costs me almost $100 for copay.Ouch....

I was a dancer and teacher of dance for many years and had damaged joints from over use as well as a condition of the bones called FFS where the calcium from the bones was leached out and into the blood stream making my blood level calcium count high.

I've only been taking celebrex for 1 month and have had very few side effects. Aleve used to give me bloody stools. As my arthritis worsened and needed a stronger med, I was given celebrex 200 mg capsule. I don't digest capsules well, so I take the capsule apart and put it in applesauce with some ground cinnamon, as part of a large meal. Maybe the cinnamon helps, I don't know. The only side effect i've had was that sometimes I had a little gas.

I had somach upset after taking this med for two months. I accidently took a dose of asprin while on the med as well, causing bloody stools. I quit taking it after the Viox (sp) recall. Both are cox-2 inhibitors which have been linked to stroke and heart attacks. Dangerous treatment.
