This medication works for me after all the other antidepressants either didn't work at all or stopped working. And NO...I do not work for a drug company. This medication started working much faster than others I've tried or been on and I don't to worry about the hellish withdrawal side effects I experienced when I stopped taking Effexor and celexa. I haven't gained any weight (I've actually lost a...

This was the most annoying medication to actually acquire from the pharmacy. I had to go THREE times because of the SAME issue! (That it needed approval from my doctor). And then make sure you activate their discount card before your pharmacy actually fills it. The issues surrounding this medication are not worth its effects. My doctor gave me samples to try beforehand, and honestly, I should have...

Became suicidal on this medication. Spent a week in hospital to get it out of my system.

Life-changing for me! Made all my 2 year's brain fog disappear in a month. I tried like 6 other antidepressants before and this one is so much more effective, especially against cognitive issues. I have been taking it for 20 months and absolutely no side effect or relapse. :)

This works really well for me after trying MANY other treatments and prescriptions. Started taking it about a year ago, titrating up to 20 mg. However, after a while, I started having too much nausea, so I stopped taking it and promptly crashed. Started it again several months later. This time, I started biting the pill in half (with permission from doc) and taking it once in the morning with food, and once in the evening with food. Few side effects, depression gone!! Doc is going to check if the insurance will be willing to prescribe two 10 mg tablets per day (he says this is often denied by insurance companies). If not, I will keep biting them in half! :-)Read More Read Less

It took about 6-8 weeks to kick in and things started to progressively get better. Have been on it for a while and it is the only medication that has worked for me. However, the weight gain is a really big struggle. I am have been on a diet for two weeks now and back in the gym, if I don’t begin to shed the weight I’m not sure what I will do.

Needed a new anti depressant after being on different types that have lost effectiveness over the years. No initial side effects, gradually increased dose. GAME-CHANGER for my depression but, 20lb WEIGHT GAIN. From other posts I am the only unlucky one for this side effect. Prior to taking I was crying constantly and unable to function most days so I am continuing drug as a FAT person now.

Put on this from paxil for anxiety/ depression. Awful medication. Made my anxiety worse. Helped just a little with the depression. Did nothing for my PMDD. Made me so so sick 15-30 mins after taking for the rest of the day. Do not recommend.

Awful experience, I was on it for 3 weeks and spent most of the time suicidal. I thought maybe I was reacting to stopping lexapro but once I quit trintellix I was fine. Only said it was easy to use because it’s just a pill.

I have been on Zoloft and Lexapro. This drug did not do anything for me. Zoloft and Lexapro started off great and then tapered off. Trintellix never worked. I felt depressed the whole time. PMS was horrible. Switching to something else.

Been taking this for over a month now and it's the ONLY thing that's ever helped! I've tried countless others in the last 25 years with no help. BUT... it's causing bloating & horrid gas. Does this ever stop? It's really gross & embarrassing.

I had some hissing sounds that started in my ears and felt like I could not concentrate at all and the hissing was making me very anxious. Also felt very depersonalized - like I would just stare at the computer screen at work. Did wonders for my panic attacks but I felt very uncomfortable nonetheless. Hope others have a better experience.

Got me to the point where I stopped crying all the time but I just feel flat. No energy, no interest in anything, everything requires a major effort. I lay on the couch most of the day and I donâ??t want to leave the house. Plus I totally lost my appetite. Though I try my hardest to force in food Iâ??m losing 2 lbs each week. Hot flashes a lot. Terrible nausea. Early wakening. I had such high hopes. Iâ??m disappointed. I wish luck to all who try it and hope their experience is better than mine has been. Iâ??m down to 10mg this week as part of process to discontinue Read More Read Less

Only 2 weeks but I believe this is helping my depression. Big problem is nausea. Looking for natural options ... or OTC. I see a reviewer called Ze-Ze reported success on an organic ginger capsule. I went to Amazon. There are sooo many. If you are still on the blog and see this, could you provide brand info? If I can get a grip on the nausea this could be my answer!!! Praying every day!! (For ALL us!)

Terrible experience for me personally. The side effects from this drug are unbearable. I had violent nausea and vomiting. My depression was made worse, and is the only drug I’ve tried that did actually make me gain weight.

The side effects of this medication suck but eventually subside. The key is your Dr. slowly increasing the dose. I have suffered from major depression for the majority of my adult life. This medicine has been a game changer improving my quality of life tremendously. I have tried a multitude of antidepressants and Trintillex has the been the only one to make a difference.
