as a physician with IBS, this is one of the best products i have ever take and i recommend it to all of my patients. as i read some of the negative reviews, i notice that those individuals are not following the directions as they should. also, many of the problems these individuals are having, have nothing to do with the medication. this stuff is great and there is proven data to show for it.

IBgard has a very good promotional add, "but" it does not deliver what it promises. The ad's on tv and the description on the label of the box, sounds like a very promising product, but for a person who has a mild case of IBS, who I would think it should have worked according to it's promise.....it does not "work". I am a very dissatisfied customer for two reasons: I called the company for a refu...

Tests $3,500! All to be told IBS MAYBE. Doc said try IBgard. I was amazed. Haven't been this improved with other meds. Cramping is a minimum now. I had missed so much work. Now 1 capsule 3 times a day - I'm sold on it. Too bad so expensive.

I got a sample from my GI doc. I figured it couldn't hurt to try it, so I took the samples and went home. OMG!! I am SOLD! Better then immodium hands down, and its basically an all natural product. I took it after I ate, and had started to have a flare, it stopped things within a half hour. No cramping, no gas, no urgency, no pain. I was blown away. I am a convert to this product and will continue to use it in lieu of immodium.

I got IBS when I started college and went away from eating home cooked meals and eating more fast foods. I went to see my GI doctor and they recommended I take IBgard since it is more of a natural medication that won't pump me with a ton of chemicals that will lead to other extraneous diseases like pancreatitis he said. So I took it and I immediately tasted the minty flavor in my throat even though I kind of just swallowed it whole with water. I guess that means it started dissolving super fast. Then the next morning I woke up and the pain that had been sitting on my stomach for the past week was absolutely gone and lets just say it didn't hurt to poop. I love this!Read More Read Less

I only tried these pills twice, back to back, and it doesn't give me relief. First 30 minutes I'm burping peppermint (which wasn't bad) but then resulted in having to use the restroom. Although it didn't make me feel tired like it did to some, it just gave me a lot of gas and discomfort.

I have tried everything from herbal teas, anti-diarreah meds, you name it. Thought I'd give IBGard a try. Have only had two supplements and already feel it working! BUT it is very expensive and hope the company can try to give a price break to seniors on SS.

I have mild IBS and this has definitely cut down on the amount of pain and discomfort I experience. I definitely recommend it. I am so glad to have found this, it's like adding another item to my tool kit to fight IBS issues.

For 40 years, I've suffered with IBS symptoms, but this past 7 months, they were worse than ever. I had so many tests, hospitalizations, dr visits, and nothing they gave me worked. I decided to try IBGARD, AND SO FAR, FOR 2 DAYS I FEEL SOMEWHAT BETTER. HOPE I LASTS BECAUSE I WAS JUST EXISTING WITH ALL THE SYMPTOMS.

I've had IBS for 15 years and stomachaches for over 40 years. My diet is very restricted, I found this medicine was wonderful. I had gotten use to eating and having an upset stomach...for 3 days I've eaten and not gotten sick. Hope it continues.

I have suffered for years from IBS with diarrhea and after taking a week of these capsules, I feel that I have found relief at last. I know I probably haven't taken them long enough to write a review, but I am so happy that I feel I need to let anyone who has this condition know how I feel after only a week. For the first time in years, I have had a formed stool and am very proud of that!!

Have taken one dose for treating IBS, along with I have diverticulitis. Have not decided on continuing as I got extremely sleepy suddenly and could not stay awake. Take Omprazole for GERD and am concerned about that also. Would like very much to find something to regulate my bowels so as to prevent future attacks of Diverticulitis.

I have post-giardiasis IBS. It's too early to tell if this medication works for me or not BUT I decided to post here because of the side effects I'm already having. I took one capsule 5 hours ago and I'm so dizzy, weak and sleepy that I can hardly stand up! The symptoms started almost immediately after taking the capsule. I've taken a long nap and could sleep again right now very easily - and I'm an insomniac! I guess I've found a cure for that! I just hope it doesn't last for days. I take an MAOI antidepressant and lithium so there may be some interaction with those although none are listed for those drugs in the literature. Read More Read Less
