Rasuvo bypasses the GI problems of the methotrexate pills. But, the injection is painful, and I get a large bruise with more 50% of the injections. The bruises take about 3 weeks to heal.

I have been on Otrexup, tried Rasuvo, back to Otrexup. Oxtrexup easier to use, not painful like Rasuvo, and had a better experience with Otrexup.

I had been on the methotrexate pills for about 18 years. After a bout with cancer last year they didn't seem to be as effective. My rheumatologist prescribed Resuvo about 4 months ago. I have noticed an increase in side effects, severe G.I. distress, nausea, diarrhea, headaches, dizziness, confusion and blood in urine. I will not continue taking this medication.

Easy and painless to use. I started with 12.5mg but may go to 15 mg. Definitely avoids the GI problems that come with oral methotrexate.
