I've been using the original Visine for years with success when red eye symptoms present. More recently I've used a generic OTC eye lubricant for dryness. This new formulation seems the best of both worlds: soothing, lubricating and cosmetically effective in "getting the red out."

I have used Visine Original for years in the morning to treat red eyes. When my drug store was out I bought this thinking I could use help with the other symptoms during the day. Totality did nothing but irritate my eyes. They remained red and bothered me for at least an hour afterword with stinging and itching. I would not recommend.
