well… if hell was on earth this would be it. i have only ever taken monistat 3 before and it works miracles… but this, THIS WAS AWFUL. i shoved the egg up at about 10:30-11:00pm and at 1:53am (oh yes i know the exact time) i woke up and had to pee and then it began. i went back to bed thinking i could sleep it off and boy was i ever wrong. it itched so bad i thought i was having an allergic reaction until coming on here, so i appreciate everyone’s comments making me feel less crazy. i’m an hour into it and the ITCH IS SO REAL. the inside of my vagina feels like a healing sunburn. although it still itches and burns like it’s lucifer’s private parts… after reading everyone else’s i know i’ve probably only got an hour left of the itch. good luck friend, you can do this!!!! This medication is burning my private area like it has a major sun burn. I'm into the 4th hour of burning. Washed it our & taken antihistamine with no success.

The reviews on this thing has me laughing so hard and I thank you guys because I needed to take my mind off of my coochie being on fire lmaooo. Most customers don’t understand the monistat 1is the highest dose and for women that can handle the pain to get quicker relief ?????. The burning and itchy feeling actually means it’s working and the medication is doing it’s job. It’ll last about 30-45 minutes but once it’s done your coochie will feel brand new I promise. I usually take Monistat3 when I do come across a yeast infection. I decided to take Monistat1 with the belief of a quicker relief. My first two hours after inserting the Ovule I had no discomfort or itching. After that time I experienced bleeding and instantly freaked out. Knowing that I don’t start my menstrual until another two weeks… I was very worried and then the burning and abdominal pain “cramping” began. I felt as though I was having contractions and my vagina was going to fall off. I was bleeding like I was on my menstrual cycle. Heavy! After taking some pain medication and sleeping it off…. Okay so like 2 weeks prior from today I had a yeast infection and I used the monistat day 1 egg and it was horrible and the most painful thing I've ever felt. I wanted to cut my vagina out entirely......so fast forward 2days ago I see that the yeast infection has came back so today I remember I had another monistat 1 day pack but I was dreading using it because of my experience with that little devil egg but I'm glad I did ... Worse ever... It made it so worse... more irritated, burning, I had to leave work in the middle of the day to run home to wash it off... it wasn't that bad , and it made it worse, my labial is red and burning like crazy... I have to say I was worried after reading reviews, but I have had no issues and have experienced instant relief. I have a very mild burning, but it is not anything worse than the symptoms I had pretreatment.

Yes there is a burning that everyone talks about, but it only lasted for about 30 minutes and it was barable. Once it was over, I was back to 100% with no more symptoms. If you want to save yourself some time, this product is perfect!

NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE!!! If you have a yeast infection, just go to the doctor and get a prescription for Diflucan, it is the only thing that works for me. I bought tioconazole against my better judgment even after reading the horrible reviews. Shortly after I used the tube to insert the cream, my vagina was burning and swollen and still itchy. After about 2 days, it seemed that the itching had gone away only to return the very next day! I finally gave in and called my doctor for an appointment. After I was examined, my doctor prescribed Diflucan, which has been an enormous help. The itching and burning have gone away and I feel much better. I'd also like to note that I am probably diabetic. Once I went to the doctor, they tested my blood and my blood sugar was extremely high, which indicates diabetes. Diabetes can cause recurring yeast infections. Do yourself a big favor and do not buy tioconazole, just get a prescription for Diflucan, which is a much better choice! I wish I would’ve read the reviews before using. While I didn’t experience the really bad burning like everyone else, mine was tolerable and only lasted a few hours. But I used a tampon to absorb some of the egg after reading the reviews because I was so scared. So I think I got at least some of it out, and then I went pee shortly after a lot of it came out. I would say this is way too strong for anyone to use, not sure why it’s available! Just go to the doc and get diflucan yall. It’s not worth the burning and itching it causes. Burned like hell and the iching returned after a couple if day don't waste your money and time.

I'm going to be completely honest to hopefully help others. Based on the comments here there are tons of negative comments. I have used monistat 1 about 3 times now. It itches like crazy when you first put it in. If you can deal with it for a little while it is so worth it. The itchy feeling from the yi goes away first. It takes a few days to completely go away. Now, what I suggest if you can't stand the itching is to use the other ones. This product is the highest douse, it is meant for women who have had a yeast infection and can handle the discomfort. It is very strong and can burn and itch a lot the first time you use it. If that isn't something you can handle get the 3 day or 7 day one. But. If you can handle discomfort get this one. If I had only read the reviews beforehand, I would have been mentally prepared for the hell I experienced. I literally thought my Vagina, Vulva, and butt we’re going to fall off from the intense itching and burning I experienced 1 hour after inserting the ovule. It was so bad I couldn’t stay still or fall asleep. I wanted to cry! My partner felt so bad for me. He was trying to make me comfortable but didn’t know what to do. I tried washing it out but that only gave me some temporary relief. I felt like I was going to have a panic attack from the intense itching and burning especially because I couldn’t scratch it. Luckily the discomfort didn’t last too long. Maybe an hour or two. I also found that inserting ice in my Vagina gave me so much relief. I see a lot of negative comments, and I think it’s because people don’t realize that this medication is meant for people who have frequent yeast infections and are used to the medication. Yeast infections are something I’ve battled since I was young, and I’ve always gotten multiple a year since I was a little girl regardless of what underwear I wear or how I wash. Basically I can spot a yeast infection coming from a mile away, and I take this when I feel the first onset of symptoms so it zaps the yeast infection away. But the thing is I have a tolerance to it so I never feel this intense burn that so many women are talking about. Do not use this unless you want to set your vagina on fire. It’s a mess and as soon as you put it in prepare for the worst burning and itching ever. I’d prefer the yi symptoms over this. I cannot believe this product is still on the shelves. I chose monistat 1 day cause I thought it would be quicker. Immediately the burn started. Not like anything I ever felt and I gave birth twice. This not only burned my inside but burned the outside so bad it swelled and I needed to seek emergency care. I’m on day 2 after and the aftermath is still awful. Can barely walk. Do not buy this. I am afraid it did long term damage.

I took monistat because i thought i had a yeast infection but it turned out to be a UTI. what a mistake that was. 8 days later and i have a sore that won't go away. And i am dry. I have NEVER been dry in my entire life. I don't know what to do. I am in so much pain and so scared. I miss the moisture i had before i put monistat in me. I have cried so much over this.

While it did exercise the yeast infection from my coochie, it did it in the most disrespectful way possible. It was demonic in the way it tortured me for half the night. The burning was from the pits of hell and the ITCHING OH MY GOD, THE ITCHING. I writhed on the floor for a good two hours with an icepack between my legs. Did not heal my infection and only caused me major amounts of burning pain and itching. I even started having light bleeding after using it. Such a terrible experience and I'm never using it again. It was my first time using this and I was hoping for relief but nope.
