I had a yeast infection coming on. My entire vulva was swollen. Experienced some itchy and burning sensations. I decided to buy this give it a try. It was easy to use however .... 10mins after applying. My vagina ... WAS ON FIYAAAH. It was so intense and itchy. Omg. After about two hours of this I finally fell asleep. And in the morning it was still a little itchy but hours later I was fine. This product does work but ... you have to go thru hell for a bit to get your results.

It was extremely easy to apply, right after I applied it I had a very intense burning itching. But that only lasted for about 15 minutes. Everything else seems to be copacetic and I believe my yeast infection has cleared up

Monistat 1 was a complete godsend for me! It worked for me so fast, and I wish I would have bought it sooner. No problems at all, and it killed my yeast infection within one day where no other products worked for the 10 days that I had it! I absolutely recommend this to everyone who wants to get rid of a yeast infection real fast. Thank you Monistat.

I’m usually one to read reviews before purchasing anything, however this was my first YI and the the first thing that came to mind was monistat. So I went to my local drug store and purchased without a second thought. I carefully read the instructions and followed them. I inserted after showering before bed and decided to watch a little tv. 30-45 mins later I felt the absolute worst pain inside of my vagina next to natural childbirth. It felt like the the Devils semen was seeping out of me!! I quickly grabbed my phone and to such reviews to see that I was not the only one to experience this burning side effect. I tried fighting through the pain, but I couldn’t . I jumped in the shower and tried washing out whatever I could of the cream. I waited until the next day to right this review, upon waking up I actually felt like the cream worked. I could definitely tell a difference and feel like it does what it’s supposed to do. I would like to give a negative review. Horrible burning, itching. I then developed an infection where I had been burned. I applied the "external cream" to my rear end, because it was itching too. The entire area became burned. I'm now on antibiotics for infection. It will take weeks for the burned area to heal! I cant believe this product is on the market, there are so many bad reviews...shocking!

Same like most of you I had a really junk experience! I put it in around midnight, woke up around 2am to pee and OMG! I seriously wanted to rip my kitty off! She was extremely itchy and burning! I Jumped in the shower and just ran some water on her! It kinda helped. After I got out, ended up using a cream that I already had from my last YI a couple of years ago called nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream. That helped some. (My last YI i went to the doctors and got prescribed the pill) When I woke up in the morning I had really bad cramps that hasn’t gone away. Discharge is not a lot but there. ALSO, I have some rash in my vagina! Technically it hasn’t been a full 24 hours yet, midnight is in a couple of hours so I hope that I feel better soon. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AT ALL!!! I don’t know about y’all but this worked without pain for me still had to take antibiotics to effectively clear it up but it never burnt and the itching went away almost immediately.

I just inserted it about an hour ago. The severe itching , burning and swelling freaking sucks. Atm it�s not as bad as 5 minutes ago but it like comes in waves of throbbing, stabbing, firey burning. I�ve used this before and was perfectly fine but tonight ... tonight, I am on the verge of crying. I�ve been using wet towels to try to get this stuff out. I can�t sleep and I regret not just waiting to see my doctor. I really hope that this pain subsides completely heresoon. In the past tho the 3, 7 and this one have worked fine with me so idk what�s going on right now. I wish I woulda looked at reviews before using/buying. I really wish I had checked the reviews before I bought this. All was good until about 30 minutes after I applied it, it started itching then burnt. It was an unbearable burning and itching all at once. If this is happening to you I recommend taking a shower and rinsing ( it helps ). But it still burnt. This is my first time using this product, and I would use the 3 day if ever needed again because of the dosage is lower and probably more manageable. I purchased this before I read the reviews and let me tell you I was mortified to use this after reading all the negative reviews. I have never used any of the Monistat products but my yeast infection would not go away on its own. Anyways, it was really easy to apply, easier than a tampon for me. I did feel a very mild sensation but nothing as bad as the symptoms from from yeast infection, yikes! I used it before I did my night time routing, and I guess because I was walking around It felt like i was on my period, I used a pad in case any came out. Feeling a lot better thanks to this product. I used the 3 day version of this product a few years ago then used the 1 day version and it was the worst experience I have ever had in my entire life. I was burning like there were razor blades, I was swollen to the point i was barely able to close my legs. The burning and pain was so bad that i had to go to my gyn to get an exam that i was unable to complete the exam due to pain, swelling and excoriation! I would never recommend this product to anyone! I read the other reviews quite confused because I did not experience any pain or burning when I used this product. The application was very easy, just like a tampon. I put it in at night and did not feel uncomfortable or any pain. I really do think that you should choose either 1, 3, or 7 based on how sensitive you are in your lower area, not based on how fast you want the problem to go away. With 1 being the highest dosage, I had no problems and it worked effectively.

First of all the applicator could have been designed better. After insertion about a half an hour later..intense burning..I mean intense. It got to the point I had to repeatedly put cold towels on my lady parts. I had to sleep with a cold compress between my legs. The next day..less intense more like a dull fire...I will never use this product again. They claim it 'might' cause mild burning..this felt like a five alarm forest fire.

BEWARE. DO NOT USE. Its been a few years since Ive used and this medication did not burn before. I am in agony and can't sleep. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I should have read the reviews first and I would not have used.

Ladies thanks for the reviews. I purchased the Kit and after reviewing and much research I will not use this! I bought it because I donâ??t have insurance and now I have to sacrifice going to the hospital with a high bill.

Ladies don't use this product!! I read the direction and thought this would help my yeast infection. However it did the exact opposite. About 30 min in it started to cause minor burning which wasn't a problem but four hours later it was burning so intense I ended up getting in the shower and flushing it all out of me. It was a terrible experience and I've never felt burning like that in my life

I've had yeast infections before and always got Diflucan. Well I noticed it when I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night because I woke up to extreme itching. Went to my 24 hours CVS and got monistat bscause my friend recently used it and said it cleared up right away. It did the opposite for me. I legit had cracked and bleeding skin down there it burnt me so bad. I pee and it hits the open cuts and I yell. I got std tested and I'm clean. They told me my body didbt react well. I am a 21 year old female and this was my second yeast infection. The first time I was horrified after reading the comments about this drug. I wasted for the pain and severe itching but thankfully l, it never came. It was completely gone by day 1! this time was just as easy and all done by day 2

Last week I started showing symptoms of a yeast infection. Because I was expecting my period to start the next day or so I opted to get the One Day because I thought it would be easier than the Three Day while on my period. Oh my, was I wrong. Now I don't want to sound too dramatic because the product was super simple to use and started clearing my symptoms within a day but about ten minutes after inserting the ointment I was in agony! I consider myself to have a pretty high pain tolerance but it felt like someone had put Icy Hot in my body! Now I woke up early Saturday morning and bought and used the product before my boyfriend had woken up. I planned to crawl back into bed and nap for a few more hours before making the 2-hour drive to his parent's house for Mother's Day weekend but instead, I sat on our couch in a fetal position nearly in tears for an hour because there was no way I'd be sleeping through that. The pain didn't last too long but holy moly me oh my, was it something. I thought about trying to take it out but decided that if I could survive the bad bangs I got in 7th grade I could survive this too. After about an hour and a half, the intense sensation had stopped and I felt just standard yeast infection discomfort. 3 days later it was cleared up. Moral of the story: it hurts but it works. This is the worst. I’ve used the 3 day treatment and instantly felt relief. Took this at about 11 pm and at 130 am there I was in the shower trying to scrape this off. The weird part was that after I inserted the medication I felt nothing, it wasn’t until I put on the anti itch cream when I felt a sensation. Woke up to the itch and burning and I tried putting more of the cream on and it made it worse! Had to hop in the shower and rinse myself off and I feel a bit better now.
