My symptoms weren’t severe before taking Monistat 1. There was juT clumps in my discharge. Upon taking this, the following morning I experienced the WORSE itching and burning everrrrr. I wasn’t itching before taking this. It stayed in me for 3 days and I suffered the entire time. My flora never had a odor but after using it, there was a uncomfortable odor in my discharge! I am very dissatisfied. Now I’m trying to fix the odor problem.

I've used monistat 1 twice now. The first time I experienced what many others have described, I felt like I went to hell and back in a day. But it worked. The second time the pain was not nearly as bad. I was more on the onset of a yeast infection and didn't want to wait so I took monistat 1 again and I braced myself for the hell, but it was nowhere near as bad. I haven't tried the 3 day out of my lack of patience, but if you can grin and bear the one day, I recommend it for sure.

I was terrified to try this based on all of the negative reviews. Everyone says it burns and stings horribly. I didn’t have any burning or stinging whatsoever. I don’t however think it’s going to clear my yeast infection. Unfortunately I think the 7 day one is the best bet to clear these stubborn infections.

I bought this product and used it as the directions say, about two hours in and I was on fire inside and out. I was standing in the store and had to run to the restroom to cry alone where I wouldn't be watched. I ended up go to the emergency room and being told to NEVER use this product because this reaction I had is very common. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!! BUY THE 7 DAY ONE OR GO TO YOUR DOCTOR. Do not risk being another woman who is injured by this product!

I have use Monistat 3 and had pretty good results but today I bought Monistat 1 thinking that I would be a quick fix but after inserting the egg around 45 min the inside of my vagina was on FIRE!!! The burn is awful. As I am typing this I am laying with my legs open after a hot shower hoping for a relief.. I hope this means it’s killing the bacteria and the nightmare will be over tomorrow in the morning.

I would be lying if I said I was fully satisfied. Yes. It burns and itches so bad after you take it. About 15 minutes after... and continues to feel like the worst horrible burn of your life.. burning and itching to the point your rubbing and tearing skin.. which is no fun. So my advise. Yes it does work. But the pain and agony that comes with it is tremendoes... it's like nothing you have ever felt before. Before you use. Make sure you have a ice pack ready... I put mine ice pack in a sock and had it rested in my panties.. if it qasnt for the coolness.. I wouldn't have ever been able to go back to sleep. I put several pieces of I've into a zip po lock bag.. folded up... then into another zip lock bag.. then put it in a long sock.. put in in my panties.. and it was long enough to go all the way from front to back. It helped alot.. and I got to stand keeping the medicine in.. if I didnt think of this trick. I would of had to wash it off and suffered longer with the yeast infection ... so ladies try my trick the next time your lady parts are burning due to this insanely high dose... do my step by step method and the underwear keeps it in place. I had itching in the vulva for about 4 years in my life. I tried clobetasol ointment and fluconazole capsules but nothing works, it just comes back after a week. I started to try Monistat 1 and I am aware of the side effects I read in the reviews but after inserting the product I didn't feel anything that burns or stings. I continue to use also the cream for 1 week. I can say that during my 1 week treatment I can still feel slight itch around my vulva but after 1 week when I also stop using the cream as instructed, i felt normal again after 4 years. ?? Believe me when I say that this is the egg from which satan hatches from himself. I took this medication when I started feeling the onset symptoms of a yeast infection and wanted to take something for it before it got worse. I was moving the upcoming weekend and needed a quick â??repairâ? but little did I know that this would be a long journey of recovering from a trip to hell. I took this medication at 9pm and I immediately knew that it did not feel right in the slightest. I wiped as much of it off as I could knowing that there was still quite a bit...inside of me. Around 3:45am I woke from a deep sleep to what felt like the rest of the cream had come out. I went to the bathroom completely shocked that it was just in fact that my vagina had swelled to twice itâ??s normal size and was beat red. Instant burning and high intensity of Itching . Was supposed to see symptoms go away but instead it made it worse . Also it�¢����s $18 so don�¢����t waste your money on buying this . Also it includes wet wipes that burns when you use them and cause more itching and eventually cuts from excessive scratching. 7 day creams are cheaper and more effective.

This is the worst product Iâ??ve ever used. Iâ??m 21 and had my first yeast infection. So one day I was having slight itching, but my biggest problem was the discharge. I waited and thought it would clear up but it didnâ??t so I had heard about Monistat and decided to give it a try (WORST DECISION EVER). When I got home and inserted the ointment I felt fine for 15 min then all of a sudden I got the worse burning, pain, swelling, and itching. It was so bad I couldnâ??t even function. I wanted to rip my hair out due to how much it itched. Btw, the more you scratch it, the more inflamed it gets. It was literally like satan sent fire ants to my crotch. Eventually, within 30 minutes I couldnâ??t take it, started to cry and washed it off in the shower. About an hour later I felt relief and could somewhat finally function. But I was so shocked at what just happened. I then called my doctor because I thought maybe something more was wrong because thereâ??s no way a medicine that was suppose to help me, could harm me in such an extreme way. But I was in fact because of the medicine I was in excruciating pain. A few days later I went to the doctor, diagnosed with a yeast infection and the oral treatment, which worked wonders. I was fine within a week. My yeast infection, It was due to my partner at the time having high acidity sperm. Yesterday at 7pm I inserted the egg. After an hour or so, I started feeling horrible itching that was much, much more agonizing than the itching I felt prior. That intense itching subsided for 2 hours and calmed down afterwards. This morning I woke up and feel back to normal again.

I wished I had read the reviews before buying this 1 day treatment I have use the 3 day in the past and did not have this burning. Itâ??s 1 in the morning and I canâ??t sleep got on here to see reviews to make sure I wasnâ??t the only person who felt like this after use. I going to try and tuff it out until the morning if still burning then I will be washing this mess out. Whew pray for me and my vag. Slight infection, so mild itching, some discomfort. But an hour after inserting this into my body, this feels almost like labor. The burning is what hurts the most. Just took a motrin 800, hopefully i get some relief. Will try the 3 day next time.

I had a slight itch and burn when my original symptoms started but once I used the Monistat 1, I itched and burned so much worse! I burned so bad that I was woken up in the night. It’s been two weeks since I used it and I still have side effects. Ps if anyone figured out how to get rid of these awful side effects, post on here!

I want ti say give it time i am using it yes it hurt at the start but the pain went away i am on day 3 of it no pain or itching everyone give it time plz its a high dosage yes it sucks but it gets better i promise , yes i would use it again :)

Do not by this product!! Whatever they put in it burns and hurts worse then the actual yeast infection. This stuff immediately started burning as soon as I inserted it. I tried washing my lady parts to get it to stop burning. That didn't help so then I applied a triple anticeptic to the outside where most of the burning was happening and that helped a bunch! The burning and itching is terrible

Please please please listen to the reviews. I honestly thought people were being dramatic, oh boy was I wrong. This burns so so bad and was way worse than the infection ever was. I tried to skip the dr by getting this and had to end up going anyway and legitimately got checmical type burns down there. Use at your own risk for real, this stuff is brutal.

So, I'm not itching. Great. BUT when I go pee and wipe my entire lady fortress is so tender and sore. It wasn't before I used the Monistat 1 gel stuff and I don't know if I should worry or wait it out. It's been about 9 hours or so.

Intense itching and burning after inserting. Can not sleep!!!!! Put cold water on it and it did not help!!!!
