I've decided to write a review since there are a lot of neg ones. I'll be honest, when I first took this I didn't have the most pleasant experience and reading some reviews freaked me out. Here's my history -- I was diagnosed with yeast infection last year by my obgyn of which she prescribed a one day oral medicine. It took a few days for it to work, but I don't recall having any side effect...
I wish I had read the comments before purchasing this. What started out as a slight itch turned into a monster after using this product. I used this at about 10pm right before I went to bed. By a little after 12am I woke up to a whitish discharge so a pad is a must but that wasn't all. I was Itching and burning so bad I almost cried. I went to the bathroom and rinse off with water several times an...

Everyone’s body is different. I was afraid to use monistat 1 because of the reviews. I had a bad yeast infection, so i finally gave in. There was mild tingling every once in awhile , but it’s not that serious at all. My infection symptoms are cleared up after one day. I feel completely better. Don’t listen to the bad reviews.

I'm really, really surprised that the Monistat 1 treatment actually worked so well for me. Usually I'm the one writing reviews about my skin burning (my skin and--ahem--delicate parts are incredibly sensitive to just about everything). I know if I'd read the reviews before I bought it, I'd never have tried it. My symptoms started Friday evening (after my doctor's office had closed for the weekend! Horrible timing!), and I was kind of excited that an OTC option was available. The itching and burning was awful, and I couldn't stand the yeasty smell. When I got home, I read and followed the instructions and was surprised at how easy it was (I'm usually a bit clumsy and half expected that I'd somehow manage to shoot the weird mini egg shaped thing across the room with the applicator). After disposing of the applicator, I applied the cream and sat back to see if there would be any difference or discomfort. It didn't take long for the insert to dissolve (and there's only one direction for it to come out so be prepared for a flushing feeling), and once it did, I actually felt less itchy and uncomfortable. A few hours later when I went to the bathroom, I was way too ecstatic that the yeast smell had gone almost completely (seriously, it's embarrassing how excited I was). By the next day, I didn't have any discharge or yeast smell, and over the next two days my symptoms continued to improve. By the fourth day the burning was gone, and (though I wish it went away a little faster!) the itching stopped a day or so after that. The cream was definitely helpful throughout, but it didn't always take all of the itching away. Again, it's kind of a surprise for me that it actually worked and didn't hurt, which I think is why I wanted to share my experience. Even though I'm very happy with the product, I think every woman's body is different. If you have any doubts, definitely talk to your doctor first! :)Read More Read Less

Do NOT BUY THIS NIGHTMARE, this procduc almost killed me. Besides having a really bad burning and itching sensation. I had an allergic reaction to it. I almost die my traquea was closing I ended up in the urgente care. It is not only not effective but it is dangerous. I hope I do not have more side effects since I am only 27 and I want to have more babies in the future. I wish I would have google this cream a little bit more instead of just purchasing it from the nice box it comes in

I WILL SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOFTOP! DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT! The rest of the reviews are spot on! The cream had barely been inserted for 15 minutes & it started burning & itching. It was so unbearable that I had to try to rinse all of it in the bathtub! I want to cry. I have tried 7 day before and it worked great for me. I just wanted to try something a little quicker this time. Not to mention i spent $17 on it!!! Horrible product, I don’t know why it even exists after all of the horrible things it has done to all of these women. Read More Read Less

Just like everyone else, I am very dissatisfied. I inserted satans seed at about 9pm and applied the cream. It felt uncomfortable but nothing crazy. Then I woke up at 2am in the most excruciating pain. It actually felt like flames were shooting out of my vagina. I tried wiping as much of the cream off that I could and using an ice pack. By 3:30 am I was in the shower trying to clean everything out. Also took 2 Benadryl and went back to bed with the ice pack. Feel like a million bucks this morning. Will never use this product again. And truthfully I¢m afraid of the 3 day and 7 day product now.Read More Read Less

Im going to just drink cranberry juice for a while to see what's up. I did this around 11-12 o clock on aug 23,19

I’ve used this product before.... but OMG ?? please please PLEASE do not buy this product! I was burning and itching and it didn’t start until after I inserted the product. Dear GOD I wish I read reviews like this before I purchased it again. Why didn’t this burn last time like it does now? I’m literally sitting in my bed... itching and burning like crazy while having to pee every 30 min. Just.... UGH! Do yourself a favor and buy a different product or see your Doctor first.

Like many of the other reviewers, yes, I experienced absolutely horrible burning after about 30 minutes of using this product. It was very hard to fall to sleep, but eventually I did and in the morning, the burning had ceased. I had used the 3-day a couple times and the first time I used the 3-day I also had intense burning, but every other time, it was nothing. I just took the Monistat yesterday and right now, it seems like things are getting worse...especially the discharge. But hopefully things clear up in the next coming days.Read More Read Less

Little discomfort after inserting the pill was ok though...... I toke it about 8pm and woke up about 2 thinking I pee my self with a really burning sensation!! The medicine was all over my pant and underwear, and I was in agonizing pain. I used the in scented femmine whips, and that sorta help but didnt stop the raw pain. So use my feminine vag powder and it helped a lot!!!!!!! Cant really say if it really working but I know I regretted taking it.

Please do not use this product! It’s awful! At first it’s fine since it just inserted as a capsule! As soon as it dissolves the burning sensation is unbearable! I used this in the past and worked great! I have no idea what in the world they added but it’s so bad. My insides feel like they are raw and burning up. I want to cry...

I wish I would have read all the reviews before buying this product I used the 7 day Monistat before and thought the 1 day would be great, after a few mins I was burning so bad I jumped in the shower and tried to wash it all out.My husband had to run to the pharmacy because I couldnâ??t even open my legs to walk it was so painful, he brought back the 7 days one and it took all the pain away after an hour. I also applied aquafore around my V, and it really calmed my skin. I would not recommend using this product, but I did notice it burned more when I added the cream they provide you with. Incredibly bad itching 20 minutes after insertion. It is making me CRAZY! You can't itch so all you can do is lose your freakin mind while your vagina feels like it's got a swarm of spiders crawling around your downstairs bits,

Literally the most pain i have been in. Inserted around 8 pm woke up at 4 am in the worst pain ever! Felt like i was burning from inside my vagina. I wanted to just reach in and pull it out but that’s not how it works . Eventually took ibuprofen to soothe the pain and a hot pad between my legs .

This product is the DEVIL. I've used the 3-day kind before, so like a fool I thought that the 1-day stuff would be fine. WRONG. A few minutes in, I get an increasing, terrible burning feeling. I tried to deal, but it just kept getting worse. I finally had to hobble to the bathroom and use a douche to wash it all out. Even after, it took 20 minutes for the burning to die down to bearable levels. I then had to put an ice pack in a towel and hold it on over my panties. TL;DR: DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. If you MUST use one of the insertables, use the 3 or 7 day variety. It will save you agony. Read More Read Less
