I have been diagnosed with severe emphysema. Until 3 days ago I was at the point that inhalers were not doing much good at all and I was overusing them and having heart palpitations and the only thing that helped was my nebulizer. But even that did not produce great results and I felt limited in everything that I did. I was fearful to take my grandchild anywhere by myself and quite frankly was fea...

dr switched me to this a month ago. Was on symbicort. Seems to work better and last longer. I am not as tired or as breathless. Only side effect so far is random pains in my arms and legs but, totally worth it!

Using this inhaler for 3 months, having neck pain and muscle cramps, next visit to MD will discuss this. Works well. Expensive.

Have been on Anoro for 3 months. Some lessening of breathing as time goes on. Have sores in mouth and swelling in cheeks. Also UTI - but that is typical of sprays for COPD. Not sure what direction to go in. Was on Spiriva for 3 years then added Ventolin, but to no avail. Loved Anoro at first as it changed my breathing to be easier. Now just waiting to see how long it lasts.

Tastes awful, but it has replaced both combivent respiratory and spiriva! I feel great and for half the price.

But even that did not produce great results and I felt limited in everything that I did. I was fearful to take my grandchild anywhere by myself and quite frankly was fearful of going alone anywhere due to my breathing. My pulmonologist put me on this medicine 3 days ago and what a huge difference it made in my breathing. TYJ. I have not had to do breathing treatments or inhalers from the time of my first dose. This medicine has been a huge blessing and life changing for me also. Read More Read Less

Only been using for 3 days but what a difference in my breathing. I can finally walk across the room without getting out of breath. Lasts longer then the Spirivia I was using. Only side effect so far is coughing, slight sore throat. I really hope I can keep using this medicine. I feel better than I have felt for years.

Used AnoroEllipta just over 4 months. Gradually had more breathing difficulty. Finally developed pneumonia and spent 6 days in hospital. Have changed meds, cough stopped, breathing improved! A/E made all symptoms of COPD worse for me.

Long term asthma here - ever since I was a kid, I'm 63 now. Steroid inhalers have always made me feel worse.... I've tried them all. At Derriford Hospital in Plymouth my consultant in the chest clinic recommended Anoro Ellipta... I gave it a try with no hopes BUT it has changed my life dramatically. David

Have been taking Foradil x2years.wanted to try Anoro because of single daily dosage. At 3rd day got sore throat and cough. After a month I had to stop and go back to Foradil. Don't get sore throat or cough with Foradil. Was really hoping Anoro would work because I like the use of anticholanurgic.

Fantastic! In only one week, it has replaced both symbicort and combivent. I haven't felt this good in years, and only one dose a day... Finally a long lasting drug that works!!!

Wow what a great improvement over Spiriva, the only negative thing I have to say is that a large portion of the medication seems to go in my mouth instead of in my lungs. If all that medication was getting into my lungs I would probably feel like a person without COPD. Thanks for creating a medication that has significantly improved my life in a month. I may actually get my life back.

The first two months using this was great.I could really breathe. Ssadly for me I developed the worst muscle cramps from my waist down to my toes,I was really in tears from the pain. It took six days of not taking this drug for the pain to stop.

After just one use I was amazed. Spiriva did nothing for me, but this is as different as day and night. Can't wait to see how I am doing after a whole month of using it. I'm impressed just in one use.........wow!!!!!!

Been on spriva for over 5 years with my condition gradually worsening. New Dr switched me to Anoro and in 2 weeks time I can finally walk up the stairs without gasping for breath. Still get a little winded but I feel better. I agree the taste is awful and you do get a mouth full when you use the inhaler . I am thinking the air flow in the device isn't restrictive enough to get the entire dose in the lung. I have hight hopes that I can "get my life back" and start exercising again.

Been on this just over a week. I was using recue inhaler 8-10 times a day. Unable to sleep with a few different medication I asked my doctor to switch me to this as I seen a commercial on TV. It has changed my life. I use my rescue inhaler very little. Only if I over due myself. I would recommend this to anyone with copd. No side affects as if now. Will post if any changes.

Only started this a week ago but my improvement was immediate & significant. Went from an average oxygen saturation of "92" to "97" within a coupe days. It has cut my usage of inhalation solutions by about 2/3rds. No side effects yet. This stuff is the best in my opinion. If something changes I'll return to update.

Been on this medication for a month now it has worked really well for me. Much better than spiriva. I was on symbicort before this I asked the doctor if I could try something else because I did not like the idea of steroids in the symbicort.

I was on Albuterol nebulizer 4x a day, Advair 2x a day and Spiriva 1x a day. My Dr gave me a sample. I now use my nebulizer first thing in the AM to open my lungs, follow up with Anoro 1x a day. Just to be sure of a full nights sleep, I use my nebulizer before bedtime. I can't say enough about this drug.I can now take deep breaths and I sometimes think, wow, I feel like don't even have COPD. I too will now takes this for as long as the as it last. And so thankful for this feeling of normalcy.Read More Read Less
