I have been taking Duavee for about 3 months now. My hotflashes are almost completely gone - only have a little "warm" spell occasionally. My sex drive has increased dramatically. I feel a closeness with my husband that I haven't felt in a long time! I wish I had started taking Duavee years ago!

I have been taking Duavee for about four months and feel so much better. I no longer have hot flashes or mood swings. My hot flashes were pretty bad so this drug has increased the quality of my life significantly. The estrogen in it is protecting my bones and muscle mass and preventing me from losing collagen, which occurs as we get older, and is the main cause of wrinkles and skin sagging.

I guess the estrogen is kicking in. I definitely recommend this therapy. No side effects at all.Read More Read Less

I have been taking this medication for 15 days. I am feeling significantly better overall. I have had some pretty bad headaches and mid morning sleepiness, not everyday though. My sex drive seems to be back which was GONE completely-which makes me and my husband very happy!! Hot flashes are not as often and vaginal dryness has improved. I've had a few break thru bleeding. Overall I'm satisfied with this medicine. I hope it continues to get better.

Just started Duavee yesterday. Weight gain would be the only reason I stop taking this medication. I wouldn't mind my breasts bigger but I am slim, work out everyday and eat healthy so I am hoping weight gain doesn't happen. I was on the pill for 25 yrs with no problems so hoping Duavee helps me. I have very low estrogen, osteopenia, vaginal dryness, low libido and my mood is not good. I'm just not myself. Hoping this works. Went off Osphena, it didn't do a thing for me (false advertising, all hype).Read More Read Less

This drug is made from the urine of pregnant mares (horses). These mares spend years confined to a standing stall with their urine collected daily The foals that these mares must carry are put up for auction or put to death. When you purchase this drug you are continuing the cruel cycle of these mares lives and possibly putting a young horse to death

I am responding to the woman "dayree" that posted. I am seriously considering this medication. On Osphena now for low sex drive due to low estrogen in menopause and vaginal dryness. Been on it for 3 weeks with no improvement. Did Osphena help you at all for vaginal dryness? My dr. wants to switch me to Duavee. I told him I'd give it the full month and see. I was wondering if Duavee would help with low sex drive and vaginal dryness. Thank you for any help or comments :)

I have been having hot flashes for years and the frequency of them was about 15-20 a day. At night I would toss and turn because I got so hot. I am sleeping better after being on Duavee for two weeks. I have not seen a change in my weight. Energy level fluctuates. The jury is still out whether or not I will remain on this drug. I also do not know how expensive it is. I was on Osphena for vaginal dryness. Not sure if Duavee will help with that or not. The joys of growing older. Sigh.

I have felt so much better on Duavee. Hot flashes gone moodiness gone and I have lost weight. It did not have any effect on sleeping any better though and since my insurance will only cover it partially, after a year I am going to have to switch to Jinteli which my insurance covers.

The first week I got rather 'warm' at night. Not a flash but my whole body was warmer. The second week the warmness dissipated and I had a bit more energy mid morning. The third week I continued with energy mid morning but noticed some moodiness. I am starting my fourth week with mid morning energy and no side effects. I feel it is helping. I was put on this medicine for low estrogen and experiencing early osteoporosis including arthritis in spine, lowering bone density, and horrible vertigo. It takes time to see effects in these areas. But as for moodiness, hot flashes and total fatigue .....this medicine has helpedRead More Read Less

Taking it for hot flashes & mood swings. Hot flashes intensified horribly and it also caused constipation. It was worth a try but changing back to Isorel .

Was having break through bleeding and it has stopped. Overall feeling better but am having a headache in the back of my headache which may or may not be atributed to Duavee. A different headache.

I feel like this medication gave me my life back. I was having severe hot flashes 12-15 times a day, and a few at night. Now I just have an occasional "warm" flash - no big deal. I've had no negative side effects and feel great. Too bad I waited four years to start taking it, but so glad I'm taking it now.

After three days on Duavee, had a tremendous migraine. Days following, had headaches everyday and even visual strange sensations. After one week, finally dawned on me it was probably the Duavee. Had been on Elestrin and Aggestin for a long time but Dr wants me to get off. However, after Duavee experience went back to old regimen.

I was previously taking Osphena for vaginal dryness - with good but not great results. I have been on Duavee for 3 weeks which has taken me back to the original bone dry condition. Bummer.
