This is hands down the best thyroid medication I have ever used. I have been on it for a month and amazed how wonderful I feel. Tons of energy and I sleep like a baby. If you are on another natural thyroid medication and still don't feel up to par- give this a try- it's very potent.

Wp worked great until Feb of 2020. Now all symptoms are back of severe hypothyroid. So frustrated with the change of effectiveness. I had complete thyroidectomy so I HAVE to depend on replacement therapy. Sucks to feel so lousy. This medication has been CHANGED!

I was on WP for years and did beautifully. My old batch ended two weeks ago and started the new batch since they started producing 65 grain. I'm having terrible side effects with the new production batch!! Fatigue, severe joint pain/stiffness, itching, Heart palpitations, chest pain and sweating. I have never felt this bad on Thyroid meds! I tried contacting RLC and no response. They have changed this formula!!!!

I take WP for Hashimoto's. No side-effects, and within 3 months, felt back to normal. Can't be without it. I have been on it for thirteen years. Can't be without it.

I had been using Synthroid (brand name only) for years; I tried this one and started losing hair - fast - started getting hot flashes daily one or two hours after taking it; gained 5 pounds in 6 weeks. I switched back to Synthroid.

I could not tolerate being on WP Thyroid. I had been on Armour Thyroid for several years, but the steep price hike has had me looking to replace it. WP Thryoid for me was nothing more than a diuretic. I lost a lot of water in a couple of days but became so shaky, tired, dizzy, lightheaded and tingling in my fingers I had to give up on it. I had to go back to Armour Thyroid. Nothing about these two pills (Armour vs. WP Thyroid) resembled each other and WP Thyroid had a very strong odor too. So, I wasted $12 on WP Thryoid, but I had to try it. I have no choice but to go back to Armour Thyroid and pay $115 every 3 months for it. Read More Read Less

These pills to not hold up in a tropical/humid environment. The white pills started turning brown and sticky within the first week. I'd have to shake the bottle to loosen the pills. The final 20-25 pills were stuck in a clump, which I took to the pharmacy and asked "how I was to get an accurate dosage?" They replaced the pills for free. I wasn't the first patient to have trouble, because the phamacy is no longer carrying this product. These pills are not good for Hawaii environment.

I have been slowly working my way up in the dosing of this drug. My practitioner started me at 1/4 grain, and three months later, I am up to 1 grain. I am finally feeling better. I did experience side effects the first three weeks of treatment-- mainly hair loss. But that has since stopped. The only downside to this medicine is the timing of it. Nothing before or after for 1 hr. That can be bothersome, but other than that, I am happy with my practitioner's choice to put me on this.

Synthetics have caused rapid heart beat/palpitations and dizziness to the point I was ready to have my husband take me to the hospital! Still trying to find the right dosage of WPThroid but it did correct my labs within the first 30 days. Hopefully symptoms will continue to improve. Just an fyi: CVS pharmacy no refuses to fill this prescription claiming their vendor can't get it. I checked with RLC Labs who confirmed this was incorrect. Most likely a case of Big Pharma trying to sabotage independent labs... Rite Aid will fill and Express Scripts/UHC home delivery system will fill. Read More Read Less

Been using this for over a year now, 81.25 mg. It's really been working well and keeping me stable. Very good product. I was getting a little wheezy while using this and then found out it was because my iron was a little low. Now I take an iron supplement two days a week, and the wheezing stopped in about three days.

I felt very strange for first 3 daysi felt "wired". Could not sleep. I was supposed to increase from one grain to two with in the week. At first, I thought its not going to happen but aftet 3 days I felt amazing! I felt I have not felt for many years. My body got adjusted and is happy! I have missed so much on life. I wish I found this earlier.

This is my third review also. WP Thyroid is working very well for me, 1.25 grains. I figured out why I was having so much trouble sleeping. It was because, for whatever reason, if I take a multi-vitamin while on thyroid meds, it keeps me up at night. I've proved it to myself over and over again, even with different vitamins. So, no multivitamins, just WP thyroid. I sleep through the night. Go figure..

I've been taking this drug for about 1 month now. I feel awesome! I feel that I am functioning at a 97% normalcy. On Armour I felt about 80% normalcy. So happy I found WP! My mind is much sharper, thoughts clearer, memory has improved, energy is through the roof, my nails have stopped chipping, tension/tightness in the neck of my neck has vanished, i feel more optimistic and overall happier, even my libido has increased ??. It's nice to feel normal again after 6 years of hopelessness and settling for feeling just "okay". I highly recommend everyone to atleast try WP, you can always go back to your old meds if you don't like it. But you'll never know what possibilities of feeling phenomal lie in the greatness of natural medicine if you don't try.Read More Read Less

This is my third review. I'm up to 1.5 grains, and that seems to be the stopping point. My finger nails are stronger, my temp is better, my sleep is getting better. I didn't realize that a lot of folks taking meds for hypothyroid have sleeping issues. I'll stay on this medication forever, no real trouble other that some sleeping issues, this medication has been very beneficial, much much better than synthetic levo.

The goal my doctor and I had from the beginning was to slowly introduce the WP Thyroid into my system. I have Hashimoto's and everything I've read says not to take Synthroid or Armour. I started WP Thyroid at 16.25 mg p/day...wasn't enough...went to 32.5mg p/day...wasn't enough...went to 48.75, which was almost enough, but I was still low on some blood work. I went to 65mg p/day, but that was too much and my blood work showed a touch of hyperthyroid, so I am now having to take a 48.75mg and cut a 16.25mg pill in half, for a total of 56.875 mg. It seems to be working, but I'm getting more blood work to see if this odd amount works well.Read More Read Less

I've been taking this medication for a month now. I still have a slight rash on my chest, still can't sleep worth a darn, but this medication makes me less wheezy. Armour made me wheezy, and an insomniac. I prefer this mediation over Armour.

So far so good. Armour Thyroid gives me a rash. I'm hoping this more natural product, with far far fewer fillers does the trick. 1 grain, 65 mg.

My hair is soft and glossy. My skin is not so dry. Have lost some weight. No side effects. Much better than Armour thyroid. A little more energy. I called RLC lab and they found a pharmacy for me in my town that can order WP Thyroid. RLC lab was very helpful and person I spoke with was very pleasant. The thyroid pill's binding agent is chicory root and coating is palm oil.
