I was diagnosed with MS in 1983, was on Avonex injections for approx. 14 years and had relapses every other year with a lasting effect from each one. Have been taking Tecfidera/Dimethyl Fumerate for the last almost 9 years and have had zero relapses and feel better than I did 10 years ago. I was told if I would eat/drink at least 10 grams of fat before taking pill it would help avoid side effects especially nausea, so I take med with a glass of milk or sometimes a piece of cheese and I have no side effects at all. No upset stomach, nothing. Try it! It really helps! Since taking these pills my MS symptoms have not gotten worse/progressed and there have been no changes/worsening on my MRI test results...still only 7 lesions on my brain. My bloodwork has been good as well. Very fortunate for being diagnosed 38 years ago. 60 years old and still going strong, well somewhat strong anyway haha. I'm really grateful for this med.Read More Read Less

It is the best drug in the market... You can even try dimegen which is 5 times cheaper and a generic version of Techfidera... Remember medicines can only prolong the effects of the disease you have to maintain ypur diet which takes care of 75% of your health. Avoid non vegetarian food...

I swapped to Tecfiderea from Rebif and the reduction in my fatigue levels has been dramatic.
