Applied all over arms chest back and face before going to the beach . I Was in the Sun and kept a reapplying every 4 to 5 hours we were there for a total of 11 hours. I was in and out of the water so I kept reapplying to make sure I was covered. I later kept getting more burnt towards the end of the day and broke out on hives that night and the next morning could barely get up for work. All of the skin irritation on my shoulders chest and back neck included was so severe I could barely touch my skin. I had to take Benadryl and antibiotics I'm 5 days in and they're just now starting to go away. They are very sensitive to the touch still but I am getting better I am also peeling so I'm extremely itchy. I never thought I could have an allergic reaction to a sunblock. Not a good experience I don't recommend. I have acne prone skin and perhaps the stick made it worse because it was very oily so it made me burn twice as much.Read More Read Less

Used Neutrogena beach defense sunscreen stick, SPF 50+. Had an allergic reaction. My face is seollen, red, itchy, in pain. I cant leave the house like this. Ended up going to the clinic (day 4) had to get 2 injections; benedryl and steroids.
