Before it was taken off the market it worked wonderfully for me. Today I'm taking several meds to replace it.

This product worked great, until I could no longer find it, my doctor told me to use over the counter medications, which I have none to work as well. Would love to find it again.

Hista-Vent DA is very helpful during the day for running nose/stuffy head. I'm having a problem finding Hista-Vent DA. Do you know where I can purchase this medication?

It absolutely worked for me-along with Omni-Hist-which they also don't make anymore! I am now back to square one! :(

I have used this medication for cold symptoms and again when I ended up with my annual Broncitus I always seem to get. It has worked wonders for both problems. Only issue is the extremely dry mouth. (Which I would much rather have than feeling bad.)

Good information but I did not the actual chemical ingredients, which would helpful when comparing "substitutions" .

Issue occured when I developed subconjuctival hemorrhage (red eye) from the drug after sneezing. Has anyone else had this problem?? One of the side effects is increased pressure in the eyes. The red-eye has occured 4 times over the last year and the redness lasts for up to 4 weeks.

This med also worked for me when I congestion in my head. My reason for being on the med was because of a sinus infection. The only thing I don't like about this drug is the drying out of the nose. You have to be sure to use some type of nose spray for a little moisture. Other than this, the med as great for me.

Finally, a pill that takes effect immediately and with the first 24 hours I could feel some relief. I've tried everything and this works great for me. You do have to drink lots of water because of the drying effects.
