6 hours after taking this med I was horribly sick headache, fever, chills, vomiting, it woke me from a dead sleep. I asked the pharmacist if this was the pill or the flu she assured me those were NOT the side affect of the pill. I stopped taking the pill and felt wonderful within several hours, however when I tried to take it again it made me even sicker than the first time! I will deal with the break-outs!!

My 8-yr old daughter was prescribed this for UTI, As soon as she took the first dose she felt miserable. She vomited the rest of the day. After speaking w/the pharmacist I found out I should have split dose into 2. I tried that too with no improvement, the Dr. changed her Med to Amox. Turns out Septra wouldn't have cured the E.coli, so I'm glad she didn't have to finish it.

Used for bladder infection.

After 3 doses of this medicine I had frequent watery stools and an extreme amount of gas. My stomach made very loud noises that could be heard across the room. The nausea was pretty miserable, too.

Im taking this for acne and its WONDERFUL its only been a week and its already looking better!!!!!

While I was taking septra/bactrim, I was sick the entire time (nausea, loss of appetite, and STILL had the frequent urge to urinate) but apparently when they did a urinalysis, the infection was gone... I stopped taking it and have had nausea and been vomiting, loss of appetite, and STILL the painful urge to have to urinate. The doctors guess it may have caused an intestinal infection and a yeast infection. I will never take this antibiotic again.

I took 3 Lactobacillus Acidophilus & bifidus capsules along with 2 antibiotics as per my surgeon's advice. In about a day and a half, I felt so much better. I would highly recommend this product.

Septra helped with the infection but I have begun to have muscle problems. My legs feel like my muscles are too short. This occured near the end of a 6 week regimen of Septra

I started using this medication for a infection. After a few days I broke out in hives I MEAN REALLY bad!

Have been taking this for 7 days now. I have experienced no appetite and slight nausea due to the medication. The symptoms of the infection are a little bit better. I expected the meds to take care of the infection much quicker than this.

Within 6 hours of starting this medicine yesterday evening i was having horrible tightness in my chest, chills and a headache. Felt like I was having a heart attack. I quit taking this and contacted my doctor to call me in something else. I was not having any of the chest tightness before starting the drug. I am noticing a bloated gas feeling just below the breastbone also. My center of my chest is still a little tight.

Came down woth Stevens Johnson TEN and almost died.

This drug made me very hungry, bloated and an unusual mouth and lip irritation. I also had a funny metal taste in my mouth while taking it.

I broke out in hive within a few days of starting medicine.

I used it for a bacterial skin infection - the skin infection went away, but experienced a persistent headache, which then turned into a fever with a huge, itchy rash all over.

This medicine has made me have weakness, mood changes, shaky (feel like could jump out of my skin), unusal hungar, and made my mouth sower.

I have used this to treat acne, and it has been great. Since taking this i have had a huge reduction in breakouts.

After taking this medication I had a great deal of nausa and then throwing up.. I stopped taking this and reported this to my doctor.
