I cannot take this medicine. the first tablet caused me to believe I was coming down with the flu. I missed a days's work because i was so sore in my joints that I could not get out of bed and terrible headaches. the second tablet made me even more ill. I will never that this again.

Never been so sick on an anti biotic. My legs and arms went numb after taking a dose. Ended up taking a second dose and got extremely anxious, numb, insomnia and nausea. Went to the doctor and was told to stop as I might be allergic to it.

I had a bacterial infection on my lower leg which turned out to be Cellulitus, and this medicine along with Levoquin for 14 days killed it in a hurry. The only side effect I didnt appreciate was the "Thrush in the mouth" and "bad breath" mouthwash didn't help. Just used alot of breath mints and rinsed mouth out all the time. I would reccommend this antibiotic to those who have severe bacteria problems, great medicine. TIP: just watch your salt intake when on this med or you will swell up to the point of pain levels.Read More Read Less

I used this septra ds for my cystic acne. I have had no side effects at all and it worked wonders for my skin. I was on it for 10 months and have been off it for a year now with no return of the cystic acne. This drug is not for everyone but those who can take it, should!

I'm a Fireman and had a staph infection from walking waist deap tainted water. Thie drug had me back on my feet in 10 Days !!

after first reading so many negative reviews of this drug, I was scared to take it, but am glad that I did, I feel so much better only 2 hours after my first dose...some people just like to complain I think...was happy to see some positive comments above though............

Since day 2 of taking med 2/day for seven days. I've experience constant headaches, flu like symptons. Fever for the last 3 days, itching, loss of appetite, sensitive to smell, tired, blood pressure dropping. Woke up this morning with right leg numb. Now I'm told to go to the hospital. Why are they still prescribing this?

Day 3 of a 7 day course of treatment. I was hesitant after reading others reviews of how nauseated they were, thankfully, I have not had any side effects. No nausea, but then, I take the pills WITH food, whether I'm hungry or not. Lots of water as recommended. I think its going to be ok.

i was givin this for pink eye and yes it kinda hepled but im in the worst pain ever i feel like im being stabbed over and over again. Ive had a head ache since starting this. swollen skin (feels like my skin is just gunna rip apart) shakes joint pain weakness and numbness tingling and stomach cramps monday cant come fast enough then im going back to the dr. and i stoped taken this pill. i will never take it agian.

After eight days of treatment started experiencing flu like symptoms, the next day I broke out all over my upper body from an allergic reaction to drug. Still have sinus infection. Be careful taking this drug.

Well, I took it Septra DS for Prostatitis. It was either that other Cipro which has way worse side affects. Lots of fatigue with this one since the the day i started taking it. I drank 2 litres of water a day. To flush out my system. Its not a feel good drug..but short term pain for long term gain.

I've been taking this medication for 6 days now. Yesterday I got migraine early in the morning and one day later I still have it. I woke up during midnight feeling very anxious, like needing to move my arms and legs continuously. Can't sleep at all. I don't think I'll be taking this medicine again.

I have been on this med for two rounds. Ihave had severe loss of any desire to eat whatsoever. When I do eat there is very little taste. This last four days has been real difficult due to extreme nausea after taking dose. Headaches unlike any before. Blurred vision. Last night I thought I would never ever stop feeling sick after eating dinner (half of home cooked hamburger) Between having to sit on the tolet and hug the trash can I swore if I lived through it I would not take that pill again. It always clears up the infeaction, but it is really rough on the stomach.

Awful!! Upset stomach, very tired, Irregular heart beat, aching leggs, restless leggs, sleeplessness, anxious, nervious, an all over feeling not right.

I was prescribed this medication because of a Brown Recluse bite that started decaying my skin. It causes many headaches and is very large in size that I had to cut the pill in half to take it.
