Had a UTI it worked great had some side effects but they were better than having the UTI

Was prescribbed this for a simple sinus infection. This medicine gave me an extreme headache, bladder infection, swollen lips & face, and turned my eyes yellow. I had a sever allergic reaction and will NEVER touch this medicine again.

Took this medication for an absess i had on my thigh i experienced dry mouth gaseos feelings, itchy skin, naseau,loss of appitite yellowing of the eyes(jaundice)my urine color was like coke was dmitted to hospital my liver was failing they said Ihad obstructive jaundice but after all the test eg(MRI,SONOGRAM,BLOOD TEST,THEY FOUND NO obstruction it finnally came down to i probaly allergic to the sulfur bad meds was hospitalized for 4 days I had blood test drawn the day after i was released and the following week and will have to do another in 1 month to see if my liver function has improved.(I DO NOT DRINK )Read More Read Less

Epimaditis of the left testical. Had one week of another medication. That did not work. Had a month of this medication and I still have a slight pain in my left testical. Going back to the doctors tomorrow for the follow up. I think the needle is next...

nausea and constipation - would not use it again

The medication cause severe itching around the mouth and vaginal area. also soreness inside my lower lip area.

i had chills nausea,no taste,severe itching,no appitite,gaseous stomach nothing could get rid of that eventually vomiting,my pee was the color of darkess yellow paint then one day i was outside my family noticed that my eye was the color curry powder went to E.R ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL STAYED FOR 3 DAYS MY LIVER WAS SPILLING BILLI 10 TIMES THE NORM ,HAD CATSCAN,SONOGRAM,X-RAYS,BLODD DRAWN MANY TIMES THEY THOUGHT IT WAS A BLOCKAGE TO MY LIVER SEMI CONCLUSION THE MEDS POSS CAUSED IT IT LOOKS LIKE I'M ALLERGIC TO THE SULGUR IN IT .I'M STILL HAVING TEST DONE FOR DEFINITIVE CAUSE MUCH BETTER JUAST RELEASED (THE REASON FOR THE MEDS WAS A SKIN ABSCESS)Read More Read Less

I've been taking SEPTRA DS for about 2 weeks I haven't had any major side effects only mild itching.I read some of the other reviews,some give this medication a not so good mark.I guess it all depends on what you are taking it for as for myself, I'm using it to treat a bacterial urinary tract infection besides drinking plenty of water,I also drink a least 2 or 3 glasses per day of 100% cranberry juice, by drinking this i think it may help lesson the side effect i have read about. Time will tell about the effectiveness, so far so good i give 4 stars, Ease of use 5 stars and Satisfaction I give 4 stars. Read More Read Less

This medication left me with no appitite, feeling tired and unable to stay awake, diarrhea, nausea, and severe stomache pain. would not recommend to anyone. didn't know side effects until checking this web site. still have a sinus infection. I feel worse than i did.

I am on this medication twice a day for 1 week for an infected ingrown hair. The pills were extremely large and difficult for me to swallow without gagging. I experienced nausea and vomitting by the 2'nd day of dosage and also felt very disoriented. While this medicine works effectively, the side effects make is difficult to take.

The pills were too big and very difficult to swallow.

My 4yr old granddaughter took the oral type. When she was almost through with it, she broke out in a "VERY BAD" case of hives. It was very distressing to her and her family!!!

After a week of use, I broke out in hives all over and had to go to emergency room cause my tounge was swelling and it was hard to breath.

medication worked really fine for me but had bad skin rash and itch in upper and middle back region.

I have taken this medication. Started to feel better after using. I unfourtunatly did not read the side effects forst or I would never have taken it. Dizzeness,muscle cramps, chills. I would never take this again. Still have sinus infection

I had all of the side effects. the congestion cleared up but I was still miserable. Being type II diabetic didn't help it interfered with my glyburide.

well had a ear infections for 3 months . can not take certain drugs tried 3 but this one works for me.
