I was prescribed this drug after having what i was told was a tonic-clonic seizure not due to epilepsy prior to what led to the discovery and resection of a frontal, left lobe tumor. I took this drug for a period of 6 months to prevent any further seizures. the seizures were well controlled and i experienced no noticeable side effects from this drug - well controlled meaning i did not have any seizures that I know of. after 6 months my neurologist changed drugs due to there still being seizure activity by eeg and the possible side effects of liver damage from long term use of this drugRead More Read Less
