I was using ProAir every four hours, and my chest was so tight I was panting. Now using Dulera, and there is a 100% change. Can breathe well all day, and sleep good at night. I'm 67 years old.

I have been using Dulera for about 2 months. it seems to be working great. The only side effect I seem to have are severe foot cramps at night if I don't eat foods with extra potassium during the day. and for some reason, I've lost about 5 lbs. and can't get it back on no matter how much i eat.

I've had allergic asthma during my entire life. Most severe during allergy seasons. ProAir and the likes did give me prompt short term relief in most cases. Dulera did give me lasting relief, loosened up the tightness in my chest and lungs immediately and enabled free breathing and increase of stamina with relatively no heart pounding. However after the tenth treatment I began to feel strange. Headaches, blurred vision, and thrush infection. I've discontinued taking Dulera. I am scheduled to see my doctor tomorrow. I am concerned about the long lastng effects of this drug. I am told that it loosens heart and lung muscles, but what about the long term effects of weakening these muscles?Read More Read Less

I can't take any of the inhalers that cause me to get hyper and feel anxious. Like my hair feels like it's growing!! This didn't do that to me. I started to have severe sore throats and nasal/sinus issues. I found if I used it about 1 hour before bedtime and did the rinse and brush to avoid thrush and then also used a saline nasal spray, the sore throats stopped. Still a bit raspy sounding, but it doesn't hurt. It stopped my wheezing and coughing, but I still am short of breath easily. The worst side effect so far for me is I can't seem to stay awake. I have other health issues that cause me to not get restful sleep, but this won't let me sleep well after 1st hour at night or if I do get past that, if I'm awakened, I can't go back to sleep. In the morning I have a cup of coffee and fall asleep in the chair and sometimes sleep for 4+ hours before something wakes me. I don't think I am going to get past this. I've been on it for about a month and it hasn't gotten better. I don't know what I will end up on since I can't take those anxious ones. Read More Read Less

My doctor diagnosed Asmathic Bronchitis, after several scary episodes of wheezing, hard to breathe, and dry squeeky coughing til vomiting. I have general Bronchitis almost every year and have had non-allergic rhinitis from environmental issues since my twenties. I could not believe it but the Dulera inhaler worked on the first day of use! No more wheezing or coughing! After a month I had headaches and or nausea, and one bad migraine, BUT I believe these problems were stress related. No anxiety, no problem sleeping, but I am trying to wean myself off of Dulera and seem to have wheezing and coughing again if I stop using it (and Flonase) every day. I have two more months of dosages left, so I will continue using Dulera until it is gone. Wish me luck!Read More Read Less

This drug has stopped my chronic cough and breathing problems. It is the first time in more than 20 years that I can laugh and talk without coughing.

I am a 53 yr old male. I work nights and have a recent asthma condition. I was perviously on Advair and it worked great, but my insurance wanted me to switch to Dulera. Once on it for 2 months, it did what the Advair did RE: my asthma, but I got a progressively sore throat (actually painful), constant thirst, sinus congestion, occasional chect pain, backaches, and leg cramps while sleeping. After checking online, I found all of these to be problematic with using this drug. I am stopping usage and calling my doctor to find alternatives. I will also be calling my insurance to let them know was well.Read More Read Less

Reoccuring Chronic cough, undiganosed. Long term Ventolin resuce inhaler helped, as did Prednisone, long term allegery meds didnt help at all. Have been on Dulera 6 weeks, and thus far only bad thing I have is "Thrush". I rinsed well every time and within 6 weeks Thrush occurs, frustraing. Now I have to rinse with a prescription rinse & swallow it too, since it's in my throat, per the E.N.T. just seen yesterday. My sight has worsened, other than that, it helped me.

This worked better than any other drug I've tried for my asthma. I was having no trouble breathing, no asthma attacks. However, after 1 month of use I had a heavy period that lasted for 2 whole months!! Also the foot and leg cramps were more severe with this medication than they are with Qvar. Since stopping Dulera, my last period was back to normal for me.

To begin with I am being treated for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Anxiety Disorder and have been on antianxiety prescriptions for that problem. I had been using a rescuse inhaler--which worked but I had to use it more often than I liked. The Dulera caused major anxiety attacks--so bad that I had thoughts of suicide and couldn't stop pacing--and I only used it a few days. Dulera also gave me headaches and ringing in my ears. I discontinued Dulera and will go back to my rescue inhaler.

I have a sever migraine after I only a few days of use . Horrific pain. Nausea, watery eyes, stuffy swollen sinus, the whole deal. I can barely see to type this It was prescribed after a bout of illness induced asthma. In short, I hate this drug. I will never take it again. What's worse, because I also take Wellbutrin , I am now streaks to take anything for the migraine pain, to keep minimal drug interaction potential in my brain. I have to tough it out and pray it lass no more than 24 hours. My doctor gave me this Rx because it was a free giveaway. The insurance companies are promoting it. But it's bad . Advair is nothing like this. I only need an inhaler of this type if I have had a bronchial infection. Ok I am Going back to lie down. Read More Read Less

I have been using Dulera for 1 month and can tell a huge difference in my breathing. At first the anxiety almost made me quit taking it. I also had a dull headache for about 10 days. I use Dulera every morning and every night. Because it has helped my breathing so much, I will stay on it.

I have been taking Dulera for 3 months and havent used my emergency inhaler once. I was hitting the albuterol 3 or 4 times a day. I have not experienced any side effects. My doctor recommended brushing my teeth after using to prevent thrush.

I used Dulera for one week. I had wheezing due to an allergy that kicked in my asthma. this made my heart rate increase where I could really feel the beating of my heart . ALso made me clear my throat and had hoarseness in my voice. I think Advair works better but I stopped because of how this made me feel. I will use my rescue inhaler when i need it. I am concerned with the long term use and bone loss.
