I was using ProAir every four hours, and my chest was so tight I was panting. Now using Dulera, and there is a 100% change. Can breathe well all day, and sleep good at night. I'm 67 years old.

Am on week 2 of this drug. Hyper effective, certainly, from first use. Nailed the asthma immediately; have not had to use Albuterol inhaler once. However, first week was strange, with unexpected results, effects, here and there. Extreme nervousness, lungs feeling overwhelmed, sudden weakening, full-chestedness - but all the while, able to breathe very freely. Now on week 2, do not 'feel' anything after taking the two puffs. That's how a good asthma medicine should work! One should not 'feel' anything as a reaction to it. Hopeful that all this good stuff continues. Able to resume running 4-5 times/week, which, at the end of the day, is the best cure for asthma!Read More Read Less

I have copd..have been using Dulera since 2010 and still on it... had a 43% improvement on first part of test and 49% improvement on 2nd part.. doctor very happy..I am very pleased with this drug so far..I do have a sore throat that pc said is not strep throat but I am on antibiotics and it is not clearing up. Do not want to stop dulera as I am able to breathe which I had a hard time doing before. I have an appt coming up so will see what he says.. The roof of my mouth is also sore..salty items really make it burn. But otherwise I am happy with itRead More Read Less

I was given Dulera after an acute allergic asthma attack for long term maintenance of it. On the second dose I developed a severe potassium drop(arms and legs felt like rubber, with no strength in them), severe chest pounding that lasted for 3+ hours(like I had just ran a 100 yard dash) and a severely amped up anxiety attack(was pacing like a caged tiger for almost an hour). I stopped taking it immediately, as all literature I had read said to stop if those side effects develop. But in the few months since the anxiety attacks have persisted, not as bad as the initial drug induced attack, about once a month and I have had no previous history of anxiety. Be very careful if you are considering taking this.Read More Read Less

I have asthma and bronchitis and use Dulera with an albuterol inhaler. It works great. Due to the fact that I have to use it as a regimen, I do get a sore throat, but it is not all the time. I have asthma attacks and use my quick inhaler and use Dulera after it and in 5-10 minutes, I can control my breathing.

At first it worked good for me but after a year and a half I began to get very fatiqued and felt like choking. I had many tests and found I had mild asthma. Lots of side effects to this medicine. Remember it is a SHORT term med.

I don't feel complete relief from my symptoms such as still having to cough & producing small amounts of phlegm that does not resolve. I've also developed a yeast infection so now have to treat that.

I am very pleased with Dulera. So far the side effects have been mild, slight headache, slight anxiety but it really does work to help you breathe better. I used to use Advair but find this works better for me. I am elderly and have COPD. I was a long-term smoker which played havoc with my lungs, (haven't smoked in 2 years now),and I would highly recommend trying it to anyone with breathing problems.

I have had asthma most of my life. As I got older, the asthma got more severe. This is the only medication that I've tried that actually works! Haven't had to use the rescue inhaler in months. Best drug ever!!!

Dulera is working for me well, but I am very concerned about it's long term use. TV advertisements and some websites state to use it ONLY if nothing else works and after 6 months of use doctors should change back to other medication. This means to me, that this drug is dangerous and not recommended for long term use. I would like to know more about Dulera's long term use. Why they recommend to change it after 6 months. I have COPD and it is a life long illness.

I have been diagnosed with COPD and tried several other inhalers and one pill. The Dulera definitely helps my breathing, but I seem to be more tired/sleepy than usual.

Was using Advair and occasional Albuterol. Definitely breathe better with no Albuterol but the "hack attacks" and fatigue are unbearable after only one week, nausea at two weeks. Going back to Advair.

Warning, Dulera could put your health at risk! I was using my rescue inhaler too much, so my Pulmonologist ordered Dulera.Headaches began, but subsided. Then insomnia, lack of energy, vision problems, nervousness and anxiety, and worst of all very bad pain in most of my bones. Still painful after stopping Dulera. Now starting a natural supplement with 4-5 star ratings. Hopeful.

I recently changed from Advair to Dulera due to the continued laryngitis with Advair use. I am impressed with the increased lung function and more importantly - No Laryngitis. The somewhat negative side effect is the "Hack Attack" which occurs an hour or so after inhalation, and produces copious amounts of phlegm. Maybe that is the good news.

I do not know if this is a side effect, but after using the Dulera I cough and cough until I cough up sputum. This occurs about two hours after taking the Dulera. If I don't take the Dulera there is no cough, but I get chest tightness after not using it for a day. I am currently seeing a Pulmonologist and he doesn't think the Dulera is causing the cough. He thinks it's sinus. I was taking Advair, but doing the same thing with that medication. I do think I preferred the Advair for ease of dosage however.Read More Read Less
