I was using ProAir every four hours, and my chest was so tight I was panting. Now using Dulera, and there is a 100% change. Can breathe well all day, and sleep good at night. I'm 67 years old.

I began the med on a Monday and by Wednesday morning I had diarrhea and nausea, leg cramps, fast heart beat. The vomiting and diarrhea have lasted 7 days so far and I have since stopped the medication.

I use to take Advair and even with that I was living on my rescue inhaler. Since being switched to Dulera I have not had to use my rescue inhaler once. My constant shortness of breath is gone and with exertion my "recovery" period has really been shortened. Changed my life.

Dr prescribed Dulera to try and control my asthma, which mainly occurs at night when I'm sleeping. In less than a month, I stopped taking it. It caused mental confusion during the day, I woke up frequently throughout the night feeling disoriented, and gave me a fluttering/rapid heartbeat.

I've taken this drug for 2 years and ever since I have, I've been able run for the first time without my lungs squeezing the life out of me. It all depends on the person, some people it helps, some it doesn't. Don't disregard a drug just because it didn't help everybody.

After suffering from headaches and several sinus infections (two of which led to hospitalizations), I checked the side effects and I had almost all of them!! Sleepiness, nervous, dry mouth, severe sinus infections. I called my doctor and they said to stop taking it. Hopefully my sinus infection clears up!!

It is very helpful in controlling my asthma but I get laryngitis even though I am only doing one puff in the morning, one puff in the evening of the lower dosage. I am looking for anything other than more prescribed medicine to lessen the laryngitis. Please help if you have a solution to this. I do drink lots of water.

Breathe the best since being diagnosed with copd 10 yrs. ago. Since starting this 4 months ago my oxygen stat has gone to high 90's at rest. Only problem is you have to be vigilant about rinsing mouth after every dose to prevent thrush.

The inside of my nose has cracked relatively badly and will not heal. It smells like an infection is in my nose and it won't go away even with the help of antibiotics.

While this medication has been reasonably effective, $20/gm is an extortionate price.

I suffer from emphysema and was taking Dulera 200mcg - once in a.m. and once in p.m. It's a combo steroid and long acting bronchiodilator. I choked constantly , coughing up thick glue-like mucous from morning till night. I couldn't sleep because I felt the mucous blocking my airway and would have to force cough it up in order to breathe. After 3 months pf gagging and choking I stopped it. Never had a reaction from any med before. I them tried the lower dose -100 mcg- but still had same problems. Read More Read Less

I took Dulera for 6 months and it was horrible. I started getting my period every 2 weeks, I was dizzy all the time and then it wore down my immune system. 6 months after taking it - i found out I needed surgery for both cervical cancer and skin cancer. The cervical issues started 15 years earlier as a low grade cervical dysplasia - - never a big concern, but after 6 months of Dulera - it grew into full blown cancer. i would not recommend Dulera to anyone. it did not help my asthma symptoms and the side effects are not worth it.Read More Read Less

I have been on this medication for approx 10 days, not real happy with it, have had asthma since I was 15 yrs. This medication made me cough a lot, may breathe a little better. But if I continue to cough a lot and have congestion in my throat, may not be able to stay on it. Dr put me on it thinking it may work better for me. good luck

I find it cumbersome to take it properly twice a day. It has really helped me, although I have the raspy voice and sore throat.
