After an accident that occurred, I decided not to take any chances and take Plan B. My "mishap" happened around 1 a.m., so I planned to go to the pharmacy the next morning to purchase Plan B (about 8 hours later). I was a bit nervous to take it because of the side-effects, but in fact, I experienced NONE at all. The negative side of Plan B is that it is fairly expensive (around $50); however, I wo...

I use the nuva ring for birth control. One day after having sex I felt some discomfort so I decided to adjust my nuva ring. To my surprise I could not find it anywhere. So I figured it fell out in a toilet somewhere and took the plan B one step for precaution. I felt really tired for a couple of weeks. Then on 10/22 I was suppose to get my cycle. I started cramping but no cycle. I waited a week an...

I took it about 18 hours after unprotected sex. No immediate side effects, but the next few days I had dramatic mood swings and anxiety. It was like I was a hormonal 13 year old again. Also experienced fatigue and dizziness. It worked; I did not get pregnant, so it was worth the $50 and side effects!

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend one day and about an hour after I took plan B. I was dead smack on my fertile period.Either I was very fertile or on my ovulation day. Well, after I took the pill, I had NO SYMPTOMS whatsoever! I was afraid it didnt work and I was so stressed out throught those two weeks of waiting. But then, I got my period exactly 2 weeks after and I was so relieved! So this pill works!

My boyfriend and I were having protected sex and the condom broke, my boyfriend and I didn't know it until it was all over. It was the day before I was supposed to start my period and I took it an hour after the 'accident'. I was very tired and sick to my stomach but after a good nights rest (10hours, which is unusually long for me) I felt much better, the cramps felt like I was being ripped in two and were so bad they caused diarrehea. I was sooooo scared and freaked out but try not to worry because it will not help, although that is easier said than done. Then 5 days after taking the pill I started my period, I have never been so glad to bleed so much. I bled for 5days and it was pretty heavy. It worked great because in the end, I am not pregnant!!!!! I have Plan B one-step twice and each time I had had no side effects. My period was on time after I took this drug. The only negative side effect was the fact that a month after I took plan b the second time my period was ten days so it may mess with your cycle, but then everything will be normal again.

I took Plan B Onestep 10 hours after unprotected sex. I was 3 weeks away from my period. I can honestly say that I was freaking out everyday. I had light abdonimal pain for about 4-5 days and one our after I took the pill I bleeded somewhat. I got my period in due course this morning and I have never been so happy to see it! I caution to women and men to use protection because the anxiety you face from an unwanted pregnancy is immense. Don't think Plan B Onestep will always be effective because drugs fail. I recommend this drug. I would also say that its good to have one in your home just incase something happens.Read More Read Less

I took Plan B 12 hours after having sex. Within about 2 hours after taking the pill I had minor nausea. By the next morning, I was having mild, period like cramps. The cramps lasted for about 2 days, but then went away. Within 1 week exactly after taking Plan B, I got my period. It arrived 3 days sooner then it usually does, was heavier then usual, lasted a day or so longer, but my cramps were a lot more tolerable than they usually are. I have no complaints about Plan B One Step. I would rather deal with a lot of minor side effects, then have a baby when I am not financially ready.Read More Read Less

Sadly enough, I am fifteen. I took the pill about a month ago after my long-term boyfriend's condom broke and I have had barely any noticeable side effects of the drug or sypmtoms of pregancy. I've been cramping a bit lately and I should be getting my period in a week or so but I am slightly irregular. I am palnning on taking a pregnancy test tomorrow. After reading all I can about the pill and looking over these reviews, I am confident it has worked. I'll take any side effects as opposed to teenage pregnancy. I will definitely be more careful, but things do happen and I'm glad there's a solution.Read More Read Less

I'm 18. I had sex for the first time 3 days ago with my boyfriend. It was the day after my period had ended. We used a condom but the next morning he told me that we probably shouldn't worry, but the condom slipped alittle and to be safe I should probably take the plan b pill. So, I took it and I just had a couple headaches, some sharp cramps, and some dizziness. I'm hoping it worked. It was extremely easy to use, but pretty expensive. It's better safe than sorry, so even if there's a chance something went wrong I'd advise people to take this pill!Read More Read Less

I am a 40 yr woman who is married and was never pregnant before. I was on birth control since age 15 due to severe periods. At age 40 (12/23/09), I developed a blood clot from birth control - found out I was Leiden 5 positive with 1 mututation and ordered off birth control for the rest of my life. On 12/22/10, my husband's condom broke at appx 10pm at night. I was mid-cycle - in other words - it was the 1st day of my ovulation. The worst day it could have possibly happened. Unsure if I was allowed to take Plan B due to my blood clotting disorder, I contacted my OBGYN that night. He instructed me to contact my hematologist in the AM. At appx 1:30pm the following day (16 hours from broken condom), I was told it was OKAY to take Plan B with my blood clotting disorder. I did not have one side effect at any time. No sickness, no dizziness, no headache...NADA. I did not take any food with my pill and had an empty stomach when I took it. I didn't eat until 4 hours after I took the pill to ensure it stayed in my system. I also am the type of person who has reactions to everything - but not Plan B! FYI: Plan B hormones only stay in your body for appx 48 hours. The results? NOT PREGNANT. I got my period on the exact day I was supposed to get it too. Not 1 day late, not 1 day early. I am very glad I took Plan B, because I was ovulating the exact day the condom broke. It is important to state that time is of the essence in taking Plan B. Sperm can live up to 2 days inside your body. If you are ALREADY PREGNANT, PLAN B WILL NOT TERMINATE YOUR PREGNANCY. It will do nothing for you. It will stop you from ovulating - and possibly hinder the sperm from fertilizing your egg and attaching to your uterus. To all future readers and posters: Don't believe the hype. Relax. Take Plan B (one pill). Post where you are in your cycle when your accident happened. It will help in determining the chances of Plan B working for others. Good Luck & THX Plan B!Read More Read Less

Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex so after 12 hours we went and got plan b. i'm not sure if it is working or not just yet. i did get very very dizzy about 6 or 7 hours after taking it. my stomach has been feeling really funny, like movement in it, plus some sharp pain in my abdomen. along with headaches. my period is due on the 24th of this month, i've never wanted it so badly! i really hope this works. this is day 4.

So I figured it fell out in a toilet somewhere and took the plan B one step for precaution. I felt really tired for a couple of weeks. Then on 10/22 I was suppose to get my cycle. I started cramping but no cycle. I waited a week and still no cycle. That was then my 35th day of my 28 day cycle, so I was 7 days late. For the next two weeks I took pregancy tests and they all came out negative. I started having really sharp pains along with the cramping so I went to the Dr's and got a sonogram to find out I have a cycst on my ovary. It has now been a month since I have taken the pill and still no cycle but tons of daily cramps. I am so disappointed with side effects of this pill and have been so stressed out from this situation, not ot mention the constant pain. I will never take it again nor reccommend it to anyone. They need to put a lot more details about the complications you can get from taking this pill on their pamplets. Read More Read Less

im eighteen years old, i took the plan b pill a day after the condom broke. i was a little worried knowing the side effects of the drug. about an hour after taking it i got extremely dizzy and ended up passing out. :/ i didnt feel quite right for at least 24 hours. unfortunatly abut a week and a half later i had the same accident happen and had to take the next choice pill. i didnt get my period for a whole month (which was frightening) and it was extremely irregular. its gotten more regular as the months past but my PMS was extremely horrible the first month after. i recommend not mixing the two concreceptives so close together, the side effects last for awhile in my case.Read More Read Less

Had to take it during the middle of my cycle, which made me even more nervous about becoming pregnant. Suffered from zero side effects and my period came right on time! The experience was mildly stressful because I had to wait a few hours to take it (as it happened late at night and the pharmacies don't open until the morning). Other than that I didn't have to wait around for my period, so it was a piece of cake!

I am 21 years old. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex 2 days after my period. I took the pill approximately 1 day after the incident. The pill only caused stomach pains for 24 hours. 5 days later I began my period. This period was extremely heavy, having mild- medium cramps for the first 2 days. I bled for 4 days, and am still bleeding with same heavy flow. The blood has turned from a bright red to a dark red. Which may mean it is ending. I normally have a period for 3-4 days. I have read that you may have bleeding after taking this contraceptive 14 days or longer. All I know is I am not prego! Read More Read Less
