I have had gastric bipass surgery and have found out that my stomach is very sensitive to certain drugs. I'm having female problems and my gynocogist gave me a precription for Lortab 5 , they said it didn't have codiene in it, but I had the same reaction to it as if it had codiene in it. I even told the pharmist I was allergic to codiene and they gave it to me anyway. So beware it was a VERY bad e...

I got the Generic brand for this medication Hydroco/apap5-500mg. I took it for less than a week, every 6 hours. I almost had a heart attack at 3am. I was taking it because I was having toothache. My dentist send me to the doctor. I really don't wish no one to fill what I felt that night. I woke up and my chest was hurting. I was having trouble breathing and I was looking everything yellow. I felt really warm and I could berely stand up in my feet. I got some water and I started eating a banana and I got bread too. Probably that's what helped me but I really saw it close.Read More Read Less

I take this medication for pain in my lower back as a result of arthritis in my spine. It relieves some of the pain but not all. It helps me function until my surgery date.

Was given a prescription when I visited the hospital for pain from colitis. It is quite effective at pain relief, but it also brought about some significant itching.
