It does a good job of easing the pain associated with Gout, but I feel light-headed everytime I take even two, 500 mg tablets. I don't know if this is common or not, but I don't like the feeling.

For some reason, acetominophen has never worked for me for pain relief. However,I never get headaches (only back pain from ongoing muscle spasming, and drugs like this seem particularly effective for that. So I either do nothing or use muscle relaxants or mild narcotics (used to be Darvon; I can also take codeine during the day or an extremely low dose of oxycodon (1 mg) at night. (Codeine makes me nauseous at night--not enough food in the stomach.) I took codeine and Darvon for periodical pain for 30 years (I later found out I have fibroids) without a problem, so when my back started spasming badly due to accumulated sprains over the years, I used it for pain relief. I do not have addiction problems with either narcotics or muscle relaxants.Read More Read Less
