I've been taking this for a little over a month now. My heart rate and blood pressure have both dropped greatly. Here's the downside, I have become very tired and sluggish and have been packing on the pounds like a bear preparing for winter.

I have been taking this for about a month, my BP went from 185/95 to 148/86, must better, NOT perfect... still working on it. I had notices nausea and mild headaches, talked to a Pharmacist who said I can take it at night so I started taking it at bed time, that little change has caused those “symptoms” to vanish! I feel better, I am NOT happy with the cost, at this point, it's worth it! This is my first time on any kind of medication like this too!

I've been taking Bystolic for nearly a year. I have had no adverse side effects and my blood pressure is effectively controlled. A wonderful unexpected benefit has been a decrease in migraine headaches. My only dissatisfaction comes with the cost of the drug. To me it is rather expensive.

After taking the drug for only 2 weeks I developed body aches to the point where it was hard for me to walk, especially up and down the stairs, I had mega "charlie horses" and the latest was th pain in my left upper chest radiating into the middle of my chest. I quit taking the drug and am awaiting an appointment with my physician to start a new drug.

I have CAD and my arteries are now too small for any more surgeries. There is nothing more to do except wait until I am so bad that I need a transplant. However, since taking this medication, I have had much fewer episodes of angina and, along with two other blood pressure medications, it helps keep my blood pressure down where my cardiologist wants it. I am very satisfied with this medication.

I've tried several other medications over the past 3 years, but I keep coming back to Bystolic because of the least or more tolerable side effects. Other medications have more GI effects and cause sexual problems, Bystolic seems to improve these problems within days of returning.

Some troubling side-effects at first and that persist (e.g., fatigue/ general malaise). However, it has reduced my BP by over 40 points on both upper and lower numbers.

Bystolic worked well in lowering my BP. However I began feeling depressed, and had severe lower back pain and very fatigued. I had rather have high BP than take this med! Was taking 10MG daily along with Benicar.

I have been experiencing heart palpitations for the pas few months. My DR precribed Bystolic 5mg. experiencing fatigue and dry mouth. DR told me to take 2.5mg daily. Split the 5mg in half. The pill has no score line and is triangular. I'm not sure if is correct to cut the pill.

My husband has been on this to keep his heart or basicaly arythmia. He now has higher BP than ever in his life. I hate him on beta blockers, he feels depressed listless, tired, can't bend over and stand up without nearly passing out, cold clamy hands and feet, up all night going to the bathroom, this is no life for anyone. I am afraid of this medication and wondering what it is doing to his liver, stomach, eyes,oh blurry vision. Doctors do not listen.
