I've been taking this for a little over a month now. My heart rate and blood pressure have both dropped greatly. Here's the downside, I have become very tired and sluggish and have been packing on the pounds like a bear preparing for winter.

I was put on Bystolic 10mg gained 40lbs,sinus were horrible every month ,upper respiratory infection ,was very tired--took me off and in 2 days feel like a new person. Very expensive.

Didn't lower my blood pressure. Caused dizziness, nausea, weight gain. It was just approved in US in 2007. Kind of expensive since I don't have health insurance.

I am not sure if this medication is helping me or hurting me, I have tried every medication known to man for high blood pressure, some sent me to the ER some just made my IBS flare up.I am having the numbness in hands,extreme pain in my feet, fluttering of my heart, sick stomach,don't know if the medication is causing it. I am on only 5mg twice a day now. With my other health problems I am not sure what is causing what anymore, its disturbing this trail and error game with medications..

I started the drug on Monday afternoon by evening time my Bp had dropped to an acceptable range. Tuesday I am starting to feel some dizziness and I feel like I could sort of vomit. I am feeling a little on the tired side as well.

Prior to this I was on metoprolol, it gave me a fuzzy sensation about my face shoulders arms down thru fingers. On Bystolic after 2 weeks im noticing the same fuziness in my shoulders chest and upper arms.Slight tightness across chest as well. Blood pressure has gone from 145-155 over 85-92 to 125-130 over 75-80, so its helped BP butn ot ansi fuzzy feelings in shoulders and arms

Before taking the drug,my BP ranges between 140/90-165/105,now my BP ranges from 105/72-124/85.But I noticed that Im steadily gaining some weight.

My blood pressure has dropped from 150-160/80-90 to 120-130/70-80. The only side effect I noticed was maybe a little fatigue, but I had the flu and bronchitis when I began taking it, so the fatigue may have been from that.

The only problem has been with a rash that has developed on my face. I will talk with my Dr to see if that can be resolved.
