I took at 1030pm and by 2am dirriah and dizzy and nausea not worth it

Did not do anything, coughed all night and day even when I exceed the recommended dose.

Didn’t help my cough and I got very watery diarrhea! Within a few hours of taking it I got nasty diarrhea, not as bad or as painful as these other reviews but I still had to take an Imodium due to all the water I was losing. They seriously need a warning on that bottle.

Keep your money and cough. It a pure waste of time and money. Not sure how it is still on the market and why our doctors suggested getting it. Kick back to their pockets maybe?

Helped for cough somewhat but after taking I experienced some diarrhea and after taking a couple times, dizziness. The dizziness is scary and not worth it. It only happened once I’d taken a few times. I know my sister lives by it so everyone has a different experience.

So, I purchased this product because I have enlarged prostrate gland. I was having severe dry coughs. I took the recommended dose around 9 pm last night. Then, I encountered all the bad reviews about this product in this site. I was upset. Until 1130 pm I was continuously having my dry cough until I fell asleep. Through out the night I barely coughed. Interestingly, the information mentioned that the products full effectiveness will be approximately after 2 hours, and this was almost exactly when I had my relief.This morning I woke up extremely better. I haven’t really coughed all day so far. I am planning to take my second dose tonight again just in case. In my case I must say this product has really worked. Had high hopes would suppress cough. Made it worse, haven’t slept in 2 nights. Waste of time. A simple mint works better

Had dry cough for 4 days stopped after 1st dose

Did absolutely nothing. Both my daughter and I took it and nothing. I'm glad I tried it though so now I know it doesn't work and I can find something that actually does.

Bought two boxes of this medicine.made my kids cough like crazy. Only good thing about it is that it taste like grape juice waste of money

I have a dry cough and have now taken Delsym three times over the last three days. Desym intensified the urge to cough each time. Last night I thought I would give it one last chance thinking that maybe my cough was just worse before. After 10 minutes of taking Delsym I was violently coughing and it was so dry it hurt. I t made me throat spasm. I wonder if this product would work best if used with Mucinex?

This so called medicine did NOT HELP at all. Very very disappointed. I didn't stop coughing. Wasted my money.

It simply hasn't worked. It hasn't stopped or reduced my cough symptoms at all.

Took this medicine for a horrible hacking cough. I took this medicine twice and both times did NOT work. I literally was up all night both times from the cough and I got a headache and started getting night sweats as well right after I took them.

I'm sorry the other person had a problem. There's no alcohol in it and I could take it with my diabetes meds. Worked on my cough from post nasal drip (allergies) like a charm!

I had to write a review for this seemingly simple cough medicine. I took it for the first time for a dry hacking cough left over from some kind of virus I have. Within 3 hours, my heart started racing and I started having hot and cold flashes severely... this led to panic attacks which made it worse. I only took the prescribed dose on the box, in fact it was a little below the line. This did help my cough, but it gave me racing heart panic attacks high blood pressure and high pulse. I done learned that this stuff works by changing your brain chemistry to block the signal for you not to cough. I didn't found lots of websites orchids take more than the recommended dose just to get high into hallucinate. This stuff is absolutely bad news.. if you have any tendency towards anxiety or have a heart condition do not take it.... I would never even give it to anyone. Read More Read Less
