User Reviews for magnesium sulfate injection

I went to the hospital with blood oxygen level at 83. I had an IV and the ER doctor injected it with Magnesium. I am allergic to Iodine and Sulpha and when my bottom started feeling warm I stated that fact. I was told it was ok. The heat became intense and started moving up my torso. When the heat continued to increase as it assended up into my neck, and into my head, I panicked, pleading with them to shut it off. I was hysterical and saying I felt as tho I was going to have spontaneous combustion. The doctor discontinued the infusion then and made the comment "it is something your body has in it anyway." I said I knew that but something was wrong. He said, "you are breathing better now, aren't you." I said I was but I thought I was going to die from internal tmperatures going to high.Read More Read Less
