The inhaler container should have a counter on it. How is a patient supposed to know when he/she is not getting the correct dose becuase it is impossible to tell when the canister is empty.

I believe that this ProAir is actually causing bronchitis like conditions. I was put on Dulera and stopped using the proair. Ran out of Dulera so I had to rely on Proair only. I get this thick green/gray mucus in the morning. All this completely went away when NOT using proair. Along with the mucus I get a bad cough also. I'm not happy.

It does work for very short relief, but the side effects out way the good. I would like something more effective for the cost.

The side effects I get are bad trembling, severe leg cramps, pounding heart, bad sweating, and it doesn't even work. I have to wait about 40 minutes to feel any slight relief. It's terrible!!

You know that old saying "you get what you pay for". The canister constantly got clogged up. I had to run water through it to unclog it. If you're out in the middle of no-where, the inhaler wont work if it gets clogged up. I switched back to the Proventil HFA. I rather pay more money for medicine that will work.

After unsuccessful treatment with aniti-biotics and prednisone, this seems to be effective. What a relief!

I was given this last year in place of my albuteral. I used it for about a week & then I had a severe reaction to it. My throat almost closed completely! I was given Proventnal in place of it but it swells my face and hands. Good thing I always carry Benadryl with me. I have no clue what I will use after this year, my pharmacy just started restocking on albuterol again. Has anyone else had allergic reactions to this med?

This new replacement inhi does not work for me at all. It's smaller then the generic brand I used to get from the pharmacy. I do not like this new one at all and I am glad when the pharmacy has another brand instock.

I use a differnt brand of inhaler, but wanted to add to the comment below about wanting a cheap CFC device. CFC devices will no longer be sold soon so you will have to switch to some type of HFA device eventually.

ProAir does not work for me, give me my cheaper CFC based inhaler. This stuff is not what I thought it was and I am looking for a replacement. Oh, and it costs more. I have mild asthma and the generic worked well. Be careful and see if it works, for me it does not.

Actually I am trying to get more information on this product. My grand daughter is 2yrs. old and has been prescribed ProAir pump. Does this product contain steroids? Is is something a 2yr odl should be taking?
