I have been taking Marcrobid for years and I do not experience any major side effects. I may occasionally experience softer stools but that's it. Within 12 hours of taking this medication I feel 100%.

I rarely, if ever leave a review for much. But after my experience taking this antibiotic, I am going on as many sites as I can to inform others about this drug. I was prescribed 100mg of Microbid every 12 hours for 7 days for a UTI. I am not sensitive to antibiotics I have taken in the past, i.e. amoxicillin, Cipro, Z-pack. However, this antibiotic made me feel awful. I didn't see any change ...

I had a horrible adverse reaction to the medicine. I developed chills, high fever, intense joint pain, chest pain. The 3rd doctor that I went to finally diagnosed my condition correctly as an adverse drug reaction after 6 days of treatment. Those were 6 miserable days that were unncessary.

This was prescribed due to constant urinary tract infections after intercourse. I now take one tablet after intercourse and have not had an infection since.

This medication is a dream. This is coming from a female who gets bladder infections frequently. Also side note the doctor informed me of something I didnt know before with bladder infections, he said drinking a lot of water and keeping hydrated will be your best friend in helping to prevent future bladder infections.

I thought I was going to die taking this medicine. It made me lethargic to the point that I felt like I was leaving my own body. Had to stop the medicine after three pills. The third pill of the first day did it for me and I had to quit.

After taking the 5 day dose, my symptoms did not fully disappear. I took the urine dip test after one week, and still have the infection. This one did not work for me.

The medication labeling is correct on the bottle, but I am still experiencing the the same symptoms and the color description of the pill is different from the actual color of the pill. The pill is imprinted mylan 3422.
