After reading all the reviews I was scared to take this. So, I made sure to drink a full glass of water before I took it and right before bed. I took it with lunch and with dinner, in the middle of the meal. I never experienced any symptoms and took two a day for one week.

DO NOT take this if you are allergic to sulfa drugs. I only took for two days and I had a severe allergic reaction to this medicine. My eyes started turning black/purple....looked like I had not slept in weeks. Chills so bad my teeth chattered and my entire body was shaking. Excruciating body aches all over my body, as if my muscles were being ripped out of my body and I started having a horrible...

While taking this medication I have had headaches, shortness of breath, coughing, diarrea, severe muscle aches and blisters in my mouth. I will discuss this with my Dr. and never try this treatment again.

While this medication worked, and quickly, it has been a miserable experience. I have been dizzy, nauseated and off balance. I think there is a standard dose and I am highly sensitive to meds. Probably I am taking the dosage for a 250 lb male, but I am done today... and well.

I have not had a UTI in many years. I do remember a drug that is no longer on the market that began working immediately. So far this drug isn't working at all. It hasn't given me any side effects, just hasn't relieved any of the symptoms of the typical UTI.

I had to take this medicine with a whole meal or I would get nauseous. I'm pregnant and the nausea felt just like morning sickness. I felt a little dizzy or off-balance. It made my urine bright yellow, almost lime green. It seems to be effective so far. (I have not finished the whole dosage yet)

I was prescribed this medication for a UTI I developed while pregnant. The drug made me vomit and have severe diaherra, I've never had this w/ other drugs before. Could be related to the pregnancy. I had to stop taking it b/c I was so ill and a month later the infection returned and I'm back on it now. I have an allergy to other drugs I can use while pregnant to treat a UTI, so I cannot use those right now.

Prescribed for a kidney infection. According to WebMD, this drug is ineffective for kidney infections. Why then was it prescribed? So far (2 days later) it is not working.

I have allergies to many antibiotics however this is the first antibiotic that worked for me with no problems. I have Rh-negative blood and believe that has some effect on the type of medication I receive. Also, after doing som research on my own found that when my potassium was very low I have a tendency to be more so allergic to certain medications and food. This medication works great!
