I took ocuvite for one week and ended up in the ER with severe chest pain and nausea. Since this was my only change in diet or medication I attribute it to the Ocuvite.

I have been taking Ocuvite for about two weeks now. I was diagnosed with a PVD in my right eye, decided to researched ocuvite, and am taking it every other day, as I experienced slight headaches in the morning, and also have had weird dreams, but will continue taking it, only every other day.

DO NOT TAKE THIS IF YOU TAKE BLOOD THINNERS! My mom's eye doctor recommended the multi-Ocuvite. She upped her to two tabs a day and within a week she got a nose bleed that soaked two bath towels before paramedics arrived. She is on Warfarin. Don't mix the two!

I was diagnosed with a PVD, and decided on my own to take this vitamin/mineral after researching this. After just one Pill, I noticed a difference in my eyes, my floaters in my right eye are becoming less noticeable. Easy to take, and no upset stomach, if you follow the directions. Thank you

I decided to take tahis vitamin supplement due to dry eyes and the beginning of macular degeneration. It seemed to improve my dry eye problem by about 80% but caused diarrhea, weird dreams and cramping of my toes. Unfortunately I shall need to stop it and try to find a replacement supplement.

I have only been taking this for about a month. I see halos at night due to extreme myopia. I have noticed the halos have decreased since I started taking these vitamins. I will continue to take them.

I am 52. Have had great eyes all of my life. No I need glasses to read only. I am using it now for less than a month, but feel I need my glasses less. It seems to be working for me in a short time, but I am pretty healthy and work out a great deal. I have experienced no headaches or diahrea as others have. And at the price of close to $12 for 120 tablets at WallMart, It is 3 months of pills for about 10 cents a day. I will continue with it and see what happens.

Started taking this on advice of Dr to prevent macular(sp?) degeneration. Can not comment on its efectiveness as that is about like Tiger Powder, you sprinkle it around and it you dont have Tigers, then it works, right?? But almost from the time I started taking it I started having nightmares. I normaly dont have nightmares so this was noticed. I dont know if the medicine has anything to do with it, but I did start it at the same time. And the nightmares are very unusual for me.

Just started taking these a few weeks ago.. And it's not a scientific evaluation but I have noticed that my ability to focus without reading glasses has improved. As I sit here and write this a month ago I would have had to have reading glasses.. not sure if it' occuvite or if it's something in the water.. but something has changed.

My vision in one eyeh has worsened since my last visit with the eye doctor two months ago. The doctor cannot explain the reason for this, as my examination showed no explanation for this loss. The only difference between the two visits was that I began taking Ocuvite!

Vision seemed to improve, but, vitamins started giving me daily headaches. When I stopped them, the headaches stopped. Might try taking these only periodically and decide on a trial and error basis if I want to continue with them.

Before using this medication I was able to see close up. I noticed my sight was not improving and had to wear my glasses to see close up. My sight was the same for severa; years prior to take the medication. I had my eyes tested and the resuklts were not the same as the previous test of approximately 10 years. I stopped taking it after at 59 tablets.

Not sure if it has been of any benefit. Have taken it on my own for almost 2 months and since this is the only change in my diet, am suspicious it is responsible for the urinary burning I've had this past week. Will not take any more.

My Grandma was 87 years old and she had cataracts in both eyes, and severe blurred vision in her left eye, she couldn't read a book and could only make out shadow images when watching tv, Then her Doctor asked her to start taking Octuvite, and after about 3 weeks, her blurred vision is gone, she can watch tv and see everything now, and she's 95 now and says her eyes are getting better everyday. Now i take it, and i notice my dryness and itching feeling in my left eye is gone.

My father is 86, in 2012 went blind in his left eye due to a blood clot. He has ONE extra blood vessel in his eyes that only about 15% of the USA's population have. Over a four month period he regained limited vision at about 45 degrees but mostly saw light at this angle with zero vision (black) in front. Since starting Ocuvite (two bottles) he claims to be able to see in front himself, and to his left. With his right eye covered when I step to his right he cannot see me, however he still sees light. Considering he was blind in the left eye this is pretty amazing. His doctor at Kaiser is one of the best, this fellow also teaches the eye doctors at the VA in Santa Monica, CA. I have not yet been able to setup a new appointment for my father and as of yet this Doctor is not aware of this new improved condition, however he or his office will be made aware of it on 4-29-2013. At which time I will make a new appointment for my father. I really do want to know how much improvement he has received since starting the Ocuvite. This doctor is also unaware that my father is using the Ocuvite as I was unaware, my sister sent it to him, so I recently was amazed when he said I can see you out of my left eye. This is how I learned about him taking Ocuvite. Read More Read Less

The ocuvite vitamin horse pill size makes it very difficult for me to swallow. Some times I end up with a headache the next day. I would have continued taking it if it was smaller in size.

Male, 68, have experienced stomach cramping and nausea. My Ophthalmologist recommended because I have near-Glaucoma but I'm simply not going to be able to continue with this supplement.

Male. Age 78. Age 77 when started using. Aug, 2012 began to have blurred vision in left eye. Got worse: unable to read signs on Interstate [their huge] until very close. Eventually began double vision. Started Ocuvite 50+. In 10 days vision began to improve and completely cleared in a few more days. Coincidence? Did not know. Ran out of the Ocuvite, and bought another--did not notice it did not say 50+. In less than 5 days vision blurred and began to see double again. Bought Ocuvite 50+, took two tablets within 12 hours of each other. Vision back to normal in 24hours. So I don't think it is a coincidence. Continue to take 1 per day. No negative side effects. Obviously it has something I needed. The one I took that did not work was the usual with Lutein as the only extra. Worked for me.Read More Read Less
