I have tried other diet drugs and might as well have saved the money. This is different. Immediate weight-loss effects, great increase in energy has made starting the exercise routine much easier, ejoyable even. Seems to have a mild euphoric effect, combined with my pleasure over seeing the numbers on the scale decrease, has been an excellent boost to my diet and exercise plan.

This medication has not been effective for me to lose weight. It might be because of the other medication i am taking. I am also taking neurotin, which increases your appetite.

I liked it the first few days but overtime I notice I do get headaches. I don't think I'll be using it again.

WAS on Adderall for 12 years and hit the max FDA recommended dose of 60mg / day long ago. I tried Dexedrine which is simply dextroamphetamine, while adderall is amphetamine AND dextroamphetamine and it worked a little better. Anyway I had my doctor add benzphetamine (brand name Didrex) 50mg x 3/day to the amphetamine mix and i like it better than adderall by far. Apparently benzphetamine actually works by being converted in the liver into methamphetamine. Yes people you read correctly, that EVIL drug that's always on the news, lol. They also sell methamphetamine as Desoxyn brand name for ADD and weight loss occasionally. With benzphetamine though there is no chance of being able to "abuse" it by ingesting it through insufflation (snorting it) or injection, because the drug still has to be metabolized by the liver into methamphetamine which takes time. Anyway I'm not interested in doing those things at all I'm simply saying this to explain why the drug is only a Schedule III medication when it's up there with the "best of them" (Dexedrine, Adderall, Ritalin, etc) as far as stimulants. I heard that phendimetrazine (Bontril I believe) is pretty good and that's only a CIII also though. Anyway works great, only I don't take for weight loss and it DEFINITELY makes me not care for food AT ALL! lol. Read More Read Less
